Abstract: Among other things, we describe techniques for encoding data that is included in electronic communications. In one aspect, a first electronic communication system sends, to an entity, a first email message that includes a Message-ID field including data that identifies an action to be carried out by a second electronic communication system. The first electronic communication system receives, from the entity, a second email message that includes an In-Reply-To field containing the data that identifies the action to be carried out by the second electronic communication system. The first electronic communication extracts the data from the In-Reply-To field in a message header of the first electronic communication. The second electronic communication system may be the same as the first electronic communication system, or may be an electronic communication system other than the first electronic communication system.

Abstract: A system configured to cause a vehicle to autonomously maneuver to a safe haven during a triggering event includes a communication component configured to receive parameters corresponding with conditions of the triggering event and, based on the parameters and on characteristics of the safe haven, instruct the vehicle to maneuver to the safe haven.

Abstract: A hosts file manager is provided that displays a user interface with a list of selectable server groups. The list may comprise, for example, identifications server groups. Each server group corresponds to an IP address, and the hosts file manager has access to such IP address data. A user selection of a first server group may be made and received via said user interface. A computer's hosts file may then be modified to correlate a hostname with an IP address of the selected server group.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to downhole tools and, more particularly, embodiments related to incorporation of a pumpdown relief valve into a downhole tool that is responsive to changes in differential fluid pressure along a downhole tool. Disclosed is a system for pumpdown regulation in a wellbore. The system may include a downhole tool having a tool body with a tool head that is attachable to a line, the line being attached to a point at a surface of the wellbore. The system may further include a pumpdown relief valve coupled to the tool body that is operable to allow fluid to bypass the downhole tool in direct response to a differential fluid pressure across a length of the downhole tool.

Abstract: A system and downhole tool comprising an ultrasonic transducer with a piezoelectric material embedded in a backing and a method of determining a parameter using the ultrasonic transducer. A self-noise of the transducer can be reduced by the piezoelectric material being at least partially embedded in the backing. The ultrasonic transducer can include an encapsulating material that encapsulates the backing.

Abstract: A method and system for image processing of an image captured by an image-capturing device, can involve dividing a region of interest in an image into blocks, wherein the image is captured by an image-capturing device. The region of interest can be associated with one or more faces in the image, and a resulting division of the dividing of the region of interest may be non-uniform. A minimum block size can be defined and the coordinates of each block after dividing of the region of interest in the image into the blocks. The one or more faces in the image can be redacted and reconstructed using the coordinates. In addition, redacting and reconstructing of the image is reversible for use with detecting the one or more faces in the image. The coordinates can specify top left coordinates and bottom right coordinates of each block.

Abstract: A method and system for ranging between two cased wellbores. A method may comprise disposing a first downhole tool on a first conveyance line in a first cased wellbore, disposing a second downhole tool on a second conveyance line in a second cased wellbore, broadcasting an electromagnetic field from the transmitter, recording the electromagnetic field with the receiver, transmitting the recording to an information handling system, and calculating relative position between the first cased wellbore and the second cased wellbore with the information handling system. An electromagnetic ranging system for ranging between two cased wellbores may comprise a first downhole tool, a first conveyance line, a second downhole tool, a second conveyance line, and an information handling system configured for exciting the transmitter.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide a reactive throttle architecture for managing traffic to shared resources. A system comprises an interface subsystem configured to communicate with a client operatively coupled with a resource, an implementation subsystem configured to throttle traffic from the client to the resource based on a throttling policy, a monitor subsystem configured to monitor resource performance, and a policy subsystem configured to define the throttling policy based on a performance of the resource and a lane of the client.

Abstract: Systems and methods to performing insurance-based actions using sensor data are provided. A computer-implemented method includes receiving sensor data from the one or more dwelling sensors configured to generate sensor data representative of one or more environmental characteristics of a dwelling; generating a dwelling assessment based upon the one or more environmental characteristics; determining potential insurance policy adjustments based upon the dwelling assessment; and presenting the potential insurance policy adjustments via an electronic communication.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for deploying enterprise systems in cloud environments. In one implementation, a system for deploying an enterprise system in a cloud environment may include at least one processor configured to provide: one or more first containers hosting at least one application with at least one enterprise function; one or more second containers hosting at least one microservice configured to activate the at least one enterprise function; at least one application programming interface (API) between the at least one microservice and at least one client; and at least one gateway configured to manage access to the at least one API.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, one or more images of an object may be received from a device associated with a first account on a communications network. Features of the object may be extracted based on the one or more images, and one or more content items related to the object may be determined based on the features. A hashtag associated with at least one of the features may be determined. A second account connected to the first account may be selected where the second account previously performed a search for the hashtag on the communications network, and at least one of the one or more content items may be provided to the second account.

Abstract: Included are methods and systems for controlling the rheology of a treatment fluid. An example method comprises selecting a cellulose feedstock source to provide a cellulose capable of being processed into a nanocellulose having an average desired aspect ratio, and processing the cellulose with a cellulose processing technique to provide the nanocellulose with the average desired aspect ratio. The method further comprises adding the nanocellulose to the treatment fluid; wherein the nanocellulose alters a rheological property of the treatment fluid to provide an altered treatment fluid, and introducing the altered treatment fluid into a wellbore.

Abstract: A nicotine lozenge provided herein includes a body that is partially or wholly receivable in an oral cavity. The body includes a soluble-fiber matrix and nicotine or a derivative thereof dispersed in the soluble-fiber matrix. In some cases, a nicotine lozenge provided herein includes at least 40 weight percent of soluble fiber. In some cases, soluble fiber in a nicotine lozenge provided herein can include maltodextrin. The nicotine lozenge is adapted to release the nicotine or a derivative thereof from the body when the body is received within the oral cavity of an adult consumer and exposed to saliva. A method of making nicotine lozenges provided herein includes forming a molten mixture of at least 40 weight percent soluble fiber, nicotine, and less than 15 weight percent water while maintaining a mixture temperature of less than 150° C. and portioning the molten mixture into a plurality of nicotine lozenges. In some cases, the ingredients can be mixed to form the molten mixture in an extruder.

Abstract: A single dual-sided product placement and information strip includes a first side with product information for consumers and a second side with product placement information for placing products on a display shelf. The dual-sided product placement and information strip enables information necessary for consumers to be printed on the first (consumer-facing) side and information that assists stockers to place products on shelves to be printed on the second (opposing) side. Also disclosed are systems and methods for formatting and printing the dual-sided product placement and information strips. The single dual-sided product placement and information strip may be printed alone or in a single sheet along with one or more other dual-sided product placement and information strips.

Abstract: Provided herein are embodiments of a method and apparatus for measuring permeability of a rock core sample in the direction of pressure gradient. In one embodiment, a method includes providing a rock core sample having an inlet primary face, an outlet primary face and one or more sidewalls having a thickness (T) adjoining the inlet and outlet primary face, wherein the inlet primary face has a surface area (SAIF) and the one or more sidewalls have a surface area (SASW), and further wherein a ratio of the inlet primary face surface area (SAIF) to sidewall surface area (SASW) is at least 0.4; placing the rock core sample, unbounded, between an inlet flow plate and an outlet flow plate; directing a fluid through from the inlet flow plate into the rock core sample; and measuring a flow rate of the fluid exiting the outlet flow plate.

Each of the first plurality of individuals may be associated with a respective one or more accounts. The device may receive a request to match the individual and one or more individuals. The device may determine a match of the individual and the one or more individuals based on the information. Abstract: A system for providing data quality management may include a processor configured to execute instructions to: extract a plurality of first data elements from a data source; generate a data profile based on the first data elements; automatically create a first set of rules based on the first data elements and the data profile, the first set of rules assessing data quality according to a threshold; generate a second set of rules based on the first data elements and the first set of rules; extract a plurality of second data elements; assess the second data elements based on a comparison of the second data elements to the second set of rules; detect defects based on the comparison; analyze data quality according to the detected defects; and transmit signals representing the data quality analysis to a client device for display to a user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating identification information are disclosed. For example, an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) may comprise a user interface. The user interface may comprise a card reader. The card reader may be configured for card rotation about an axis of a bank card. The user interface may be configured to receive card rotation input from a user. The ATM may comprise at least one memory storing instructions. The ATM may comprise at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may comprise receiving identification information from the user. The operations may comprise receiving the card rotation input. The operations may comprise extracting a card rotation sequence from the card rotation input. When the card rotation sequence is within a predetermined threshold from a stored card rotation sequence corresponding to the identification information, the operations may comprise authenticating the user for an ATM operation.

Abstract: A system for device communication is disclosed. The system may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to transmit a first unique identifier to a wave device, and receive a second unique identifier from the wave device. Further, the first unique identifier may exclusively identify a person, and the second unique identifier may exclusively identify a first wave receiver associated with a person, an entity, a place, or an object. In addition, at least the first unique identifier may be transmitted to the wave device based on an indication of a proximity between the first person and the first wave receiver.
