Abstract: Disclosed embodiments describe a system for completing a transaction using an electronic transaction card by receiving, from a user device executing a software application, a selection of a first account function associated with a financial transaction; determining that the account function requires user verification; detecting, via a motion detection component, a motion pattern performed on the electronic transaction card by the user; authenticating an identity of the user, by the electronic transaction card, based on the detected motion pattern; and completing, by the user device, the financial transaction.

Abstract: The present application provides a method and system for outlier detection, anomalous behavior detection, missing data imputation and prediction of consumption in energy data for one or more energy sensors by using a unified model. The application discloses a data collection module for collect a time series data to be used as training data, a model training module for training the unified model using the collected time series data to enable computation of a plurality of parameters, and a model implementation module for implementing, by the trained unified model, the plurality of parameters on a new data of energy consumption wherein the plurality of parameters are used perform at least one from a group of outlier detection, anomaly detection, missing data imputation and prediction of consumption in energy data.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a web-based, short-term (e.g., as little as 1 hour) subscription service positioned between client devices and third-party digital subscription providers. The subscription service allows multiple online subscription services (e.g., newspapers, magazines, etc.) to be viewed or accessed on different client devices (e.g., tablets, desktop computers, laptop computers, smart phones, etc.) for a fee. The subscription service ensures that the client views the original content in the original format and retains associated metadata in the originally intended format for that particular publication on a particular client device and based on entitlements of the user of the client device.

Abstract: Provided is an adjustable split thrust ring and a drilling system including the same. The adjustable split thrust ring, in one embodiment, includes a downhole split ring including two or more separate downhole pieces, the two or more separate downhole pieces fitting together to form a substantially circular downhole shoulder surrounding a substantially circular driveshaft. The adjustable split thrust ring further includes an uphole split ring positionable proximate the downhole split ring and including two or more separate uphole pieces, the two or more separate uphole pieces fitting together to form a substantially circular uphole shoulder surrounding the substantially circular driveshaft. In this embodiment, the substantially circular downhole shoulder and the substantially circular uphole shoulder are movable relative to one another to adjust to fit a groove in a driveshaft that they are configured to sit.

Abstract: An over-air media server obtains first media content, including external content stored in a location external to the over-air media server, and delivers it for broadcast via on-air broadcast chain. A streaming media server is in communication with the over-air media server and a streaming broadcast chain. The streaming media server operates in a synchronized mode, during which it delivers, under control of the over-air media server, second media content to a streaming broadcast chain. The streaming server transitions from the synchronized mode to an independent mode, during which it delivers the second media content to the streaming broadcast chain independent of control by over-air media server. While operating in the independent mode the streaming media server obtains the second media content, including obtaining external content, from the same location from which over-air media server obtains its external content.

Abstract: A method and system of managing a new client record for a client record management system, including creating a new client record, comparing the new client record against at least an existing client record in a database, generating a table with a picklist, with the picklist presenting a suggested record, which is selected from an existing client record in the database, displaying the table and presenting the picklist for a confirmation by a user, and merging the new client record with the existing client record based on the confirmation by the user, where the picklist presents the suggested record based on a criterion, the criterion being a match in a field between the new client record and the suggested record.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for monitoring risk levels in continuing to allow a potentially compromised payment card to continue to be used. An exemplary system can include a processor which receives a notification of unauthorized use of a card, retrieves a transaction history of authorized use of the card, and performs predictive modeling based on the transaction history based to determine a predicted transaction amount for future transactions. The system can then determine a risk level of continued use of the card and modify processing of the ongoing transaction based on the risk level. The system can then issue a risk level notification to proper authorities.

Abstract: Embodiments include techniques to determine a set of credit risk assessment data samples, generate local credit risk assessment attributions for the set of credit risk assessment samples, and normalize each local credit risk assessment attribution of the local credit risk assessment attributions. Further, embodiments techniques to compare each pair of normalized local credit risk assessment attributions and assign a rank distance thereto proportional to a degree of ranking differences between the pair of normalized local credit risk assessment attributions. The techniques also include applying a K-medoids clustering algorithm to generate clusters of the local risk assessment attributions, generating global attributions, and determining insights for the neural network based on the global attributions.

The first method may further include obtaining data from data sources based on the data set rules; applying the ETL rules to the obtained data to generate processed data; applying the functional expressions to the processed data to obtain an output; and performing at least one processing action based on the output. Abstract: In certain embodiments, streaming of a live video to trigger-associated recipients in response to triggers in an environment may be facilitated. In some embodiments, one or more triggers may be detected in an environment, and one or more actions associated with the detected triggers may be performed. As an example, where such associated actions include streaming a live video of the environment to one or more recipients, the recipients may be selected as candidates to receive the live video stream based on the recipients being part of a recipient list associated with a detected trigger. In some embodiments, although a first recipient of the recipient list may initially be selected to receive the live video stream, the live video may be streamed to a second recipient of the recipient list based on the first recipient being unavailable to receive the live video stream.

Abstract: Systems and methods for conducting a well intervention operation in a well include positioning a conveyance into the well for the well intervention operation, calculating a predicted force based at least in part on a length of the conveyance that is positioned at a depth in the well, measuring a measured force for the conveyance at the depth in the well, and comparing a predicted force for the conveyance at the depth in the well with the measured force in real time to determine if the predicted force is within a predetermined range of the measured force in real time. The method further includes generating an alert if the predicted force is not within the predetermined range of the measured force in real time, and continuing with the well intervention operation if the predicted force is within the predetermined range of the measured force.

Abstract: A system and a process for building, monitoring, and rebuilding machine learning models includes building a plurality of machine learning models from a design specification, deploy the plurality of machine learning models for operation, and designating a champion and at least one challenger from the plurality of machine learning models built. The system and the process evaluate the plurality of machine learning models and provide results of the evaluation.

Abstract: Methods and systems for measuring a component of a drug delivery or storage device are described. The method comprises providing a light source in an opposing relationship with an optical imaging sensor; positioning a sample component on a positioning stage located between the at least one light source and at least one opposing optical imaging sensor; and illuminating, with the at least one light source, the sample component. The controller is operable to capture an image of the component, determine the location of a first outer edge point PI of the captured image; rotate the sample component relative to the optical image sensor, and collect n images separated from each other by x degrees of rotation, wherein n*x is ?360 degrees. The controller may compare a measured position of the at least one outer edge point PI between the captured images to determine a degree or circular runout.

Abstract: A tool for running a casing string assembly into a wellbore includes a degradable plug assembly that temporarily isolates light fluid trapped in a lower portion of the casing string from heavier fluid in the upper portion of the casing string, thereby reducing the horizontal weight of the casing string by an amount sufficient to overcome a drag force. After the casing string is landed at a final location in the wellbore, fluid is introduced to the degradable plug assembly to degrade the plug and clear the axial passageway of the casing string so that tools or other equipment can pass therethrough.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing predictive quality analysis. Consistent with disclosed embodiments, a system may receive input data associated with a software program and compare the input data with one or more predetermined analysis parameters. The system may further determine at least one risk rating based on the comparison, wherein each risk rating corresponds to a distinct software category. The system may perform additional operations, including determining at least one adjustment to the software program based on the determined at least one risk rating, and prioritizing the at least one adjustment based on a predetermined adjustment priority standard.

Abstract: Methods and systems for collecting feedback data. An application programming interface (API)-based survey feedback dashboard can be prepared for storing survey feedback data for an API-based survey, the API-based survey feedback dashboard capable of collecting survey feedback data comprising single choice feedback data, multi choice feedback data, or free form feedback data, or any combination thereof. A universally unique identifier (UUID) that links survey meta information and/or survey structural information with incoming survey feedback data can be generated, such that the UUID is available using the API. The survey feedback data can be collected using the API and the UUID.

Abstract: Embodiments of vesicles comprising embedded cytotoxic agents are disclosed, as well as methods of making and using the vesicles. Pharmaceutical compositions including the vesicles also are disclosed. The vesicles include a binary lipid bilayer surrounding a cavity, wherein the vesicle binary lipid bilayer includes (i) a non-bilayer forming lipid (or combination of non-bilayer forming lipids) and a PEGylated lipid; and (i) a cytotoxic agent embedded within the vesicle wall.

Abstract: Any sensing system is faced with triangle of dilemma between accuracy, latency and energy. High energy and high latency sensing systems are often very accurate but less useful. Embodiments herein provide a method and system for edge based sensor controlling in the IoT network for event monitoring. The system disclosed herein applies a hierarchical sensor selection process and adaptively chooses sensors among multiple sensors deployed in the IoT network. Further, on-the-fly changes operation modes of the sensors to automatically produce the best possible inference from the selected sensor data, in time, power and latency at the edge. Further, sensors of the system include a waveform and diversity control mechanism that enables controlling of an excitation signal of the sensor.
