Patents Assigned to Servona GmbH
  • Patent number: 8103012
Abstract: An electromechanical system for the stimulating of vibration of biological tissue, particularly of the human throat tissue, is provided with an electromechanical converter (12) having a self-resonant frequency and being operative for converting electric energy into mechanical energy, designed as a linearly movable, driven element (14) arranged to osculate about a zero-point position or from a zero-point position into a positive or negative direction, and with a vibration surface (20) for acting on the biological tissue. The driven element (14) of the electromechanical converter (12) is supported by an elastic, resilient unit (24) having a self-resonant frequency above the self-resonant frequency of the electromechanical converter (12), whereby the vibration surface (20) is caused to oscillate across a certain frequency range with a swing which at a constant input voltage is substantially constant across the frequency.
