Abstract: A connector (M) includes a terminal fitting accommodation member (20), made of synthetic resin, which accommodates a plurality of terminal fittings (30) and a tube (10), produced separately from the terminal fitting accommodation member (20), a front end of which is mounted in a mounting hole (H) of a panel. The connector (M) is constructed by mounting the terminal fitting accommodation member (20) on the tube (10).

Abstract: A bolt-driven connector (10; 70) includes a housing (12; 72) with cavities (24; 84) extending in front to rear directions through the housing (12; 72). At least one position assurance slot (36, 38; 90) extends into the housing (12; 72) in a direction transverse to the cavities (24; 84) and slidably receives at least one TPA member (46, 48; 92) for assuring the position of the terminal fittings in the cavities (24; 84). A threaded insert (40) is held connector (10; 70) and is prevented from rotating relative to the housing (12; 72) by walls (30) the housing (12) or walls (98) of the TPA member (92). Forward movement of the threaded insert (40) is prevented by a wall (32; 87) of the housing (12; 72) and rearward movement is prevented by either a wall (87) of the housing (72) or a wall (56, 58) of the TPA member (46, 48).
Abstract: An electrical junction box is provided including a mounting cover, a connector, and a slide-arm. The connector is disposed within the mounting cover and includes a boss. The slide-arm is slidably supported by the mounting cover and includes a slanted driving surface. The slide-arm is operable to displace the connector by slidably engaging the boss with the slanted driving surface.

Abstract: The junction box according to the invention includes a housing defined by a lower case and an upper case. A busbar substrate disposed within the housing includes a plurality of busbar substrates. The pier assembly is disposed on at least one of the lower case and one of the plurality of busbar substrates. The pier assembly either accommodates another of the plurality of busbar substrates or supports another of the plurality of busbar substrates. In one embodiment, the pier assembly is disposed on the lower case. In another embodiment, the pier assembly is disposed on one of the busbar substrates. In yet another embodiment, the pier assembly is disposed on the upper case. A method for assembling the junction box according to the invention includes providing a pier assembly for positioning a busbar substrate assembly and disposing a busbar substrate of the busbar substrate assembly in the lower case. The busbar substrate either receives the pier assembly therethrough or is supported on the pier assembly.
