  • Patent number: 11612952
Abstract: A method of fixing a membrane to a surface is disclosed. The method includes affixing a metallic washer having a heat-activated adhesive layer on a surface; arranging a membrane on top of the surface and the heat-activated adhesive layer of the metallic washer; heating the metallic washer to activate the heat-activated adhesive layer such that the membrane is fixable to the metallic washer; positioning a magnetic clamping heat sink assembly on the membrane; magnetically clamping the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly to the metallic washer causing the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly to apply a force against the membrane when the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly sufficiently overlaps the metallic washer to form a secure bond; and cooling the metallic washer, the heat-activated adhesive layer, and the membrane by removing heat through the magnetic clamping heat sink assembly.

  • Patent number: 11572937
Abstract: A ball screw including a threaded spindle and a spindle nut has a ball deflector arranged in an opening in the lateral surface of the spindle nut. The ball deflector is formed with an upper shell and a lower shell, the lower shell being arranged radially inwardly closer to the spindle nut longitudinal axis than the upper shell. The lower shell has a substantially half-shell-shaped contour. Both the upper shell and the lower shell are fastened in the spindle nut without any further, discrete mechanical fastening elements, and the ball deflector formed thereby does not protrude beyond the outer contour defined by the spindle nut.

  • Patent number: 11549542
Abstract: A fastening arrangement including a grommet, which is configured as a substantially cylindrical sleeve with a head part, with a hollow-cylindrical shaft and with a conical tip, and also a fastener and a nut, for example made of plastic, which is fitted on the first threaded portion of the fastener. The fastener has two threaded portions, wherein one threaded portion is configured as a right-hand thread and the other threaded portion is configured as a left-hand thread (or vice versa). Moreover, the invention comprises a mounting method for such a fastening arrangement, in which the setting operation (anchoring of the fastener, adjustment of the sheath) can be managed in one step without changing the driving direction of the setting tool.

  • Patent number: 11519483
Abstract: A diverter for a ball return of a ball screw configured for lifting in and lifting out balls from a ball channel between the spindle nut and the threaded spindle. The diverter is configured in one piece and has 3 functional units, specifically a positioning element, a deflection element having a spade-like lifting-out region and a diverting surface for balls out of or into the ball channel. All surfaces of the diverter that are provided for guidance of balls are configured as circumferentially open grooves (not closed in the manner of a tunnel). A method for assembling such a ball return includes providing two single-piece, structurally identical diverters; providing a pre-assembled module with a spindle nut and a threaded spindle, the spindle nut having two inwardly fitted apertures; inserting the diverters into the apertures; introducing balls; and securing the ball return by attaching a covering sleeve to the spindle nut.

  • Patent number: 11353053
Abstract: A facade panel screw for the optimized fastening of facade panel elements on a substructure has a head with very large diameter DK, a substantially cylinder cross-sectional shaft, which is at least partially provided with a thread (nominal diameter DS) and a conical tip comprising a tip angle ?. The thread extends continuously from the shaft to the tip. It is characterizing that the tip angle ? is 45°+/?10°, the thread is embodied at least in a two-threaded manner, the head diameter DK is embodied at least twice as large as the nominal diameter DS; and the facade panel screw does not have a drill tip. Such a facade panel screw is used in a fastening arrangement, which comprises a load-bearing component (substructure) and a facade panel. • Publication number: 20220090660
Abstract: A spindle nut (S) for a ball screw is conventionally designed as a hollow cylinder with a central-symmetrical middle longitudinal axis (Z). The spindle nut has an internal thread, which is designed as a ball groove (K) arranged on the cylinder inner surface. Pairs of load-relief bores (B) serve as substantially cylindrical channels for guiding the balls out of and into the ball channel (K) through the wall of the spindle nut. Each load-relief bore (B) is distinguished by a generatrix (L), which has an intersection point (C) with the thread base line of the ball channel (K) and constitutes the geometric continuation of the traveling path of a ball from the ball channel (K) into the load-relief bore (B). A tangent (T) to the cylinder surface (G) runs in a parallel manner at a spacing a >0 to the generatrix (L), both T and L being perpendicular to a common normal (R) to the middle longitudinal axis (Z).

  • Publication number: 20220065283
Abstract: A sleeve for the centering of fasteners when installing structural parts on substructure of a building envelope is designed substantially as a hollow cylindrical sleeve body or split hollow cylindrical sleeve body. It has at least two gutter-like shell elements each having a head end and a rear end. The shell elements are grouped symmetrically about a central axis A and span between them a middle space with inner surfaces facing each other. The shell elements are spaced apart from each other and separated by axially parallel longitudinal slots, except for a connecting joint section at the head end. These sleeves are placed on a fastener and allow a precise centering in the predrilled hole of a facade plate, for example. The sleeve remains in the predrilled hole until such time as the centering of the fastener has been accomplished and is then ejected safely by driving the fastener home.

  • Patent number: 11148263
Abstract: A sleeve (20) for centering fasteners during the assembly of components such as facade elements on the substructure of a building envelope includes a sleeve body (23) and a connection bracket (25). The sleeve body (23) has a plurality of sleeve elements (21, 22) which are grouped around a central center axis A and are spaced apart from each other by gaps running in the sleeve longitudinal direction. At least a first (21) and a second (22) sleeve piece are connected to each other at an axial longitudinal end of the sleeve body (23) by a separable connection bracket (25), preferably the connection bracket is separable via predetermined breaking points. Such a sleeve is used in the construction of facades, wherein it is inserted into a pilot hole of a facade element, the connection bracket is broken off and a fastener is inserted into the sleeve. Driving the fastener centers the fastener in the sleeve and the sleeve is removed from the pilot hole.

  • Patent number: 11091916
Abstract: A facade element holder includes first and second profile elements, the first profile element having two sections A and B. Here, section A has a first surface shape X and section B as a second surface shape Y. The second profile element has two sections C and D with a first surface shape X? and a second surface shape Y?. X and X? and Y and Y? have substantially the same contour diametrically oppositely in pairs, the spacings from A to B and from C to D being chosen to be substantially equal.
