  • Patent number: 11398127
Abstract: A gaming terminal includes an input device, an image sensor, and logic circuitry. The logic circuitry detects user input received at the input device and that is associated with a restricted action, receives, via the image sensor, image data that corresponds to the user input, applies at least one neural network model to the image data to classify pixels of the image data as representing human characteristics including at least one face and at least one pose model, compares, based at least partially on pixel coordinates of (i) the human characteristics within the received image data and (ii) a user input zone within the image data, each of the pose models to the user input zone and the faces, and permits, in response to one of the pose models matching (i) a face of the at least one face and (ii) the user input zone, the restricted action.

  • Patent number: 11386745
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of stationary gaming tables positioned at a plurality of respective locations, a moveable table game device, one or more processors, and a server. Each gaming table includes a table transceiver. The table game device includes a device transceiver that receives data signals including identification data from the table transceivers via a first communication network. The processors determine an identity of the gaming tables based on the identification data, calculate a relative distance between the table game device and each gaming table based on at least one characteristic of a respective data signal, and generate location data indicating a relative location of the gaming device as a function of the calculated relative distances. The server collects the location data via a second communication network and stores the location data for analysis and location tracking.

  • Patent number: 11386750
Abstract: A gaming system includes logic circuitry and a gaming machine for conducting a casino wagering game. The logic circuitry receives, via an acoustic input component of the gaming machine, an acoustic capture signal representative of a player account identifier corresponding to a player account from a mobile device, determines the player account identifier represented by the capture signal, and associates a gaming session on the gaming machine with the corresponding player account. In addition, the logic circuitry, in response to receiving in a prescribed manner, via the acoustic input component, an acoustic maintain-session signal from the mobile device, maintains the association between the gaming session on the gaming machine and the corresponding player account for a period of time, in response to failing to receive the maintain-session signal in the prescribed manner, the logic circuitry terminates the association between the gaming session and the corresponding player account.

  • Patent number: 11373479
Abstract: Systems and methods of operating a major progressive jackpot linked to wagering games having different jackpot triggers with different probabilities. The major jackpot winning probabilities may be normalized such that players may have the substantially the same odds to win the major progressive jackpot regardless on the wagering game being played. During game play, the gaming stations may be randomly selected to participate for a chance to win the major progressive jackpot according to an eligibility probability, which may be inversely proportional to the probability of a jackpot trigger for the wagering game administered by the gaming station. Players may be informed of whether the current round of game play is eligible for the major progressive jackpot after wagers are placed and before the current round of game play.

  • Patent number: 11358051
Abstract: A playing card handling device comprises an elevator platform configured to receive one or more cards from an input platform to form a shuffled set of cards, a card gripper positioned above the elevator platform, and configured to grip cards from the shuffled set of cards, and a processor configured to control the elevator platform to have a grip position for the card gripper to grip the shuffled set of cards, wherein the grip position is adjusted based, at least in part, on a correction value associated with a particular card insertion. A related method includes determining a grip position of an elevator platform of a card handling device based, at least in part, on a desired insertion location within a stack of shuffled cards as adjusted based on a corrective value that is different for a plurality of different insertion locations.

  • Patent number: 11354982
Abstract: A gaming system includes at least one input device adapted to receive a physical item associated with a monetary value that establishes a credit balance, an input indicative of a wager drawn from the credit balance for a wagering game, and a cashout input that initiates a payout from the credit balance. In response to a wager input, a wagering game is initiated. The gaming system includes an electronic display device adapted to display an active array of symbol positions that are populated by symbols randomly generated from one or more spins of a set of symbol-bearing reels. The active array may be progressively expanded in response to collecting a requisite number of special symbols among the randomly generated symbols at each active array size.
