Abstract: A vehicle parking system including a pair of horizontal rails (11,12) spaced apart to define a line of vehicle parking spaces between them, a horizontal carrier (10) movable over the rails (11,12) for conveying vehicles to selected parking spaces, and a vertical lift laterally of the pair of rails (11,12) for lifting onto the horizontal carrier (10) a vehicle to be parked, the horizontal carrier (10) comprising a frame structure for receiving a vehicle to be parked, and four legs (14) depending from four corners of the frame structure and carrying wheels (15) rollable along the rails (11,12), the legs (14) being of a height to enable the frame structure, and the vehicle supported thereby, to move over other vehicles that may be parked in the parking spaces, at least the rail (11) adjacent to the vertical lift being interrupted to produce a gap (11a) sufficiently large to accommodate the vertical lift when lifting a vehicle onto the horizontal carrier (10).

Abstract: A card holder comprises a binder including a plurality of holder sheets each formed with a plurality of transparent pockets for holding business cards, and a plurality of blank sheets interleaved between the holder sheets, such that when the binder is open to expose one of the holder sheets on one side of the open binder, a blank sheet is simultaneously exposed on the opposite side of the binder permitting entry of information thereon pertaining to the card held by the exposed holder sheet.

Abstract: A parking system for automotive vehicles, comprises a building structure divided into a ground parking level and at least two upper parking levels, each having a floor and a ceiling defining between them one or more lines of parking spaces extending longitudinally of the respective level. The floor and ceiling of each level are spaced from each other a distance which is greater than twice the height of the vehicles to be parked in the respective level, to define a lower zone of parking spaces for supporting the vehicles, and an upper zone for conveying the vehicles to a selected parking space in the lower zone.

Abstract: A plastic clip particularly useful as a clothes pin for hanging articles of clothing on a clothes line, comprises a strip of an elastic plastic material formed with one or two openings therethrough for receiving the clothes line, and with a slot extending from each opening to an edge to define two or three jaws for gripping the article to be hung from the clothes line. The sides of each slot are formed with a zigzag configuration to define teeth on the edges of the jaws for gripping the article of clothing between them.

Abstract: A multi-purpose clip for clipping papers and also useful in a fastener structure for a paper file, comprises an elongated member formed with a pair of longitudinally-spaced holes adjacent to one edge to receive the fastening elements of the paper file. The elongated member is further formed with a slot extending from each of the holes to the opposite edge of the elongated member such that the slots permit the elongated member to be removed from the fastening elements by moving the elongated member laterally in the direction of the opposite edge. The slots also define a center jaw and a pair of end jaws for clamping together the papers overlying the place in the file where one or more papers are to be added or removed.

Abstract: A motor vehicle accessory to be applied to a tire of a motor vehicle in order to interpose a resistance against rotation of the tire on the ground, and therefore particularly useful for protecting the vehicle against theft. The accessory comprises a pair of locking members pivotably mounted to each other at one end from an open, operable position to a closed, folded position. The ends of the locking members are formed with transversely-extending sections to extend transversely across the outer face of the vehicle tire such that when the accessory is applied in its open position to the vehicle tire, the sections engage the tire at three locations. The accessory further includes a locking device for locking the two locking members on the vehicle tire, comprising, a toothed ratchet bar carried by one locking member received within a ratchet housing carried by the other locking member.
