Abstract: Ingredient containers for use in a beverage carbonation system are provided. The ingredient container includes a container body defining an interior hollow chamber, and a cap coupled to the opening of the container body. The container body has an opening leading to the interior hollow chamber and a cross-section with a major axis defining a width that is greater than a minor axis defining a depth. The cap has an inlet that is sealed to retain fluid within the container and that is configured to open to allow gas to be injected into the interior hollow chamber. The cap has an outlet that is sealed to retain fluid within the container and that is configured to open to allow fluid within the container to flow out through the outlet valve. The inlet and the outlet are aligned along a first axis that extends parallel to the minor axis of the container body.

Abstract: An attachment for use with a food processing system includes a container body having a sidewall, a first end configured to be mounted to a food processing base, and a second end remote of said first end. The first end is open and the second end is at least partially open. A chamber is defined by said container body and an agitating member is receivable at the first end. A displacement member is arranged at the second end to seal the second end. The displacement member is extendable into the chamber from the second end to increase a pressure within the chamber.
Abstract: An extrusion assembly for a micro-puree machine uses a plunger coupled to the main driven shaft to push the processed ingredients out of a nozzle coupled to the processing bowl. The plunger includes a seal around its perimeter to ensure maximum contact with the walls of the bowl and thus allow for maximum extrusion yield. The extrude function is integrated into a program on the main user interface with a predetermined translation speed/flow rate.

Abstract: An automated additive assembly for a micro-puree machine has a body including a reservoir configured for holding an additive ingredient. A channel is defined through the body, and a passage is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the channel. A plunger is configured for movement within the reservoir. Movement of the plunger within the reservoir in a first direction forces the additive ingredient through the channel such that the additive ingredient is combined with the processed ingredients extruded through the nozzle.
