Patent number: 6466659Abstract: In the existing facsimile apparatuses with telephone function, those having the function of storing the received acoustic signal when the subscriber is absent are known. Hitherto, modulation/demodulation and memory of image data and acoustic data have been executed in independent compositions, and the structure was large and complicated. Besides, various pieces of voice information sent out upon arrival of acoustic signals were also processed in independent compositions, and versatile use was difficult. In the invention, the acoustic data is processed by using image data processing apparatus, and acoustic data is stored in image memory. Moreover, when storing image data and acoustic data in image memory, each memory region is set dynamically. Further, the voice data sent out upon arrival is stored in part of the program memory controlled by the CPU. As a result, the structure is reduced in size and simplified, and complicated combined processing of voice signal being sent out may be realized.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 1992Date of Patent: October 15, 2002Assignee: Sharp KabushikiInventor: Sadaaki Shimonaga

Publication number: 20010026586Abstract: A motion picture coding and decoding apparatus synthesizes a lower layer frame at a certain time by using first component area information of a lower layer preceding in the time and second component area information of a lower layer succeeding in the time. For an area where the first and second component areas overlapped, or for an area which is neither the first nor the second component area on the lower layer frame, lower layer frames preceding and succeeding in time are subjected to weighted average for synthetisization. For the area corresponding to the first component area only, the lower layer frame succeeding in time is used, and for the area corresponding to the second component area only on the synthesized lower layer frame, the lower layer frame preceding in time is used, for synthesizing the lower layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2001Publication date: October 4, 2001Applicant: Sharp KabushikiInventors: Hiroyuki Katata, Norio Ito, Tomoko Aono, Hiroshi Kusao, Shuichi Watanabe

Patent number: 5552563Abstract: A modified lead frame is provided for use with electrical component test handlers. A conventional multiple-parallel-conductor lead frame is modified to include two broad, electrically conductive shields positioned on opposite sides of the lead frame. Each shield covers a major portion of one side of the lead frame. Such lead frames are designed for mounting in a predetermined orientation on a lead frame holder, with one side facing toward, and the other side facing away from, the major mass of the holder. The conductive shield positioned on the side facing away from the holder on the modified lead frame of the present invention is electrically coupled to one or more selected conductors on the lead frame. The one or more selected conductors include the power or ground conductor which supplies power to a test component during tests. The shield which faces toward the holder is electrically isolated from all the conductors on the lead frame by an intermediate insulating layer.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 1995Date of Patent: September 3, 1996Assignees: Sharp Microelectronics Technology, Inc., Sharp KabushikiInventors: Jeff E.
