Abstract: Eye goggles comprising left hand and right hand eyepieces and a nosebridge interconnecting inner portions of the eyepieces. The nosebridge has at least two filaments, each filament having left hand and right hand end portions cooperating with respective eyepieces. A headband cooperates with outer portions of the eyepieces to extend therebetween. Spacing between the eyepieces is adjusted by positioning the goggles in a generally operative position and rotating one eyepiece relative to the other eyepiece through at least one revelation so that portions of the filaments are twisted together, thus tending to reduce spacing between the eyepieces.

Abstract: Eye goggles for use in different sporting activities to protect the eyes against harsh light and possible impact injury. The goggles comprise a goggles frame having a pair of eyepiece frames interconnected by a nosepiece, a pair of eyepiece lenses, and a goggles retainer to retain the goggles against the wearer's face. Each eyepiece frame has elongated and spaced apart inner and outer support elements in which the inner support elements are locatable between a wearer's face and an adjacent outer support element. The support elements are spaced apart by a plurality of relatively short spacer elements and extend in generally similar directions to define upper and lower edge portions of each eyepiece frame. The spacer elements are spaced apart along lengths of the support elements to provide ventilation openings located between the support elements and spacer elements.

Abstract: The invention provides a pair of goggles which can be used for a variety of recreational activities, such as swimming, cycling, ball games etc. The goggles comprise of a pair of eyepieces and a nosepiece. Each eyepiece has a lens and rim, each rim having a first connecting structure and a headstrap connecting structure to receive a headstrap. The nosepiece has a pair of second connecting structures, and a bridge structure disposed between and integral with the second connecting structure. Each second connecting structure is complementary to a respective first connecting structure of the pair of eyepieces and forms an essentially rigid interference fit therewith. Inner portions of the second connecting structure and outer portions of the bridge means are contiguous and inclined at respective angles to each other at a rigid joint which is sufficiently stiff to resist deformation when subjected to normal loads occurring during use.

Abstract: A pair of goggles comprises a goggles frame with a pair of eyepiece holders, a nosepiece extending between inner end portions of the eyepiece holders, and a head strap extending between outer end portions of the eyepiece holders. Each eyepiece holder has an opening with an eyepiece unit fitted therein, the eyepiece unit having an overall length less than length of the eyepiece opening to permit relative movement therebetween to vary interocular spacing between the eyepieces to accommodate persons having eyes at different spaces. Guides are provided at outer end portions and intermediate portions of the eyepiece units and eyepiece holders to ensure axial movement of the eyepiece units with respect to the eyepiece holder with negligible rotation therebetween. A locator is provided to limit relative movement between the eyepiece holder and eyepiece unit.
