In response to receiving the RRC connection reconfiguration message including mobility control information, a medium access control (MAC) entity of a secondary cell group (SCG) is released if any MAC entity of the SCG is established. In response to receiving the RRC connection reconfiguration message including mobility control information, a MAC entity of a master cell group (MCG) is reset.
