Abstract: In order to display an image with a high contrast ratio while suppressing power consumed by a multi-display device and to adjust brightness of images displayed on image display devices, the multi-display device includes light emission APL value adjusting means 102. The light emission APL value adjusting means 102 sends, to light emission control means, a light emission APL value that has been adjusted, on the basis of light emission APL values calculated by light emission APL value calculating means of image display devices 11 to 19, so that total light emission power value of image-display light-emitting means 6 does not exceed an allowable power value and images are displayed at predetermined brightness.
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a substrate, a TFT supported by the substrate, an auxiliary capacitor, a source wiring line, and a gate wiring line. The auxiliary capacitor has a first auxiliary capacitor electrode, a second auxiliary capacitor electrode, and a first insulating layer. When viewed from the direction normal to the substrate, the gate wiring line and the source wiring line overlap to form a gate-source intersection region in which the first insulating layer and a second insulating layer are formed. The distance between the first auxiliary capacitor electrode and the second auxiliary capacitor electrode is smaller than the distance between the gate wiring line and the source wiring line in the gate-source intersection region.

A first control terminal, which is formed by a gate of the first transistor being connected to another terminal of the capacitor element, is connected to a wordline, which extends in the row direction. A second control terminal, which is formed of a gate of the second transistor terminal, is connected to a write control line, which extends in the column direction.
Abstract: A large-screen capacitive touch panel integrated with a color filter that can be applied to a large-screen display device is provided. The color filter-integrated touch panel includes mesh detection electrodes constituted of a large number of meshes, mesh driving electrodes constituted of a large number of meshes, and floating electrodes. The floating electrodes are disposed between a display device, which will be used after being combined with the color filter-integrated touch panel, and the detection electrodes and driving electrodes. The floating electrodes suppress the display device from adversely affecting the touch panel by being between the display device and the detection electrodes and driving electrodes.
Abstract: Provided are a terminal apparatus, a base station apparatus, a communication system, a radio resource requesting method, and an integrated circuit that can improve efficiency of radio resource use by efficiently performing a radio resource request control between a mobile station apparatus and the base station apparatus. The base station apparatus configures a transmission parameter of a control channel used in the radio resource request and a parameter for determining a transmission state of the control channel used in the radio resource request in the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus transmits a message related to a permission to change the transmission parameter of the control channel used in the radio resource request to the base station apparatus on the basis of the transmission state of the control channel used in the radio resource request.

Abstract: In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data and prints an image. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed either by a first or second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.
