Abstract: A touch screen includes a capacitive sensor, a sensor driving portion, and a control portion. The capacitive sensor detects a touch position coordinate in a scanning plane for each frame of the scanning plane. The sensor driving portion drives the capacities sensor at a speed of a frame rate, the frame rate representing a number of frames detected by the capacitive sensor per unit time. The central portion acquires an amount of movement of the touch position between successive frames based on positional information detected by the capacitive sensor, and sets the frame rate depending on the amount of movement.

  • Publication number: 20140301453
Abstract: A method for video coding is described. Signaling of a maximum number of sub-layers for inter-layer prediction is obtained. A sub-layer non-reference picture is also obtained. It is determined whether a value of a temporal identifier of the sub-layer non-reference picture is greater than the maximum number of sub-layers for inter-layer prediction minus 1. The sub-layer non-reference picture is marked as “unused for reference” if the value of the temporal identifier of the sub-layer non-reference picture is greater than the maximum number of sub-layers for inter-layer prediction minus 1. In some cases a sub-layer non-reference picture is also obtained. It is determined whether a value of a temporal identifier of the sub-layer non-reference picture is greater than the maximum number of sub-layers for inter-layer prediction.

  • Patent number: 8854343
Abstract: A pixel circuit includes an organic EL element, a driving, and a switching provided between the gate and drain of the driving. Upon writing into the pixel circuit, an initial voltage is applied to the gate terminal of the driving, and the switching is temporarily controlled to a conducting state while the driving is in a conducting state, and a data voltage corrected using a gate terminal potential of the driving obtained at that time is applied to the gate terminal of the driving. In at least one embodiment, the human is sensitive to blue chromaticity differences but is insensitive to green chromaticity differences. An initial voltage that increases the accuracy of threshold correction is used for blue pixel circuits, and an initial voltage that reduces power consumption is used for green pixel circuits.
