    Abstract: An agitation/defoaming device is provided, which can independently control revolving and rotational motion and can change a rotational direction relative to a revolving direction without a two-system rotary drive. The apparatus includes a rotary driving source, a braking device for rotary motions; first and second rotors revolved around revolving shaft, and first and second rotational bodies and container holders pivotally supported by the first rotor. A braking force is applied to the second rotor revolving along with the first rotor, generating a rotational motion, which is transmitted to either the first or second rotational body according to the revolving direction of the first rotor. The rotational motion is then transmitted from the first or second rotational body to the container holder through the first rotational body, thereby transmitting to the object the rotational motion according to the revolving direction while revolving the object.

    Abstract: A calibration plate is arranged on a support surface of a table. The calibration plate has first and second alignment marks arranged in one direction, and third and fourth alignment marks arranged in another direction that is orthogonal to the one direction. The first and second alignment marks that move in a front-and-rear direction are imaged by a first camera. The one direction of the calibration plate is made parallel to a front-and-rear direction based on the image. The positions of second and third cameras are adjusted based on the third and fourth alignment marks. The second and third cameras, positions of which have been adjusted, are moved to positions below the transfer roller, and a reference line formed at the transfer roller is imaged by the second and third cameras. An orientation of a rotation shaft of the transfer roller is adjusted in a plane parallel to the support surface based on these images.

    Abstract: A waste heat treatment apparatus includes a waste accommodating chamber for holding and burning waste placed in the chamber which is positioned in an outer housing that also holds a recombustion section for after burning the burning gas. An ash pan collects waste after the burning and/or after a sterilization for removal from the outer housing. An exhaust fan exhausts the burning gas out of the outer housing. A catalyzer is positioned in a gas passage between the recombustion section and the exhaust fan. The waste accommodating chamber includes a heater for burning the waste, and the recombustion section includes a further heater for after burning the gas generated by the burning. This structure provides a relatively simple device which is compact and portable, whereby installation near the spot where the waste is produced, is facilitated.
