Abstract: A device for applying a magnetic field to a container comprises an adjustable magnetic field generator. The adjustable magnetic field generator is adjacent to the container and has a magnet having one magnetic pole adjacent a wall of the container and another magnetic pole away from the wall of the container. The adjustable magnetic field generator comprises a magnet. The intensity of magnetic field applied to the container gradually decreases from the container wall adjacent the magnetic pole of the magnet to the opposite container wall. Method for coloring anode coatings using the coloring device is also provided.

Abstract: A coated article includes a substrate, a layer formed on the substrate. The layer containing polytetrafluroethylene and aluminum oxide, and the weight ratio of the aluminum oxide to the polytetrafluroethylene being between about 1:1.5 and 1:1.2. A method for making the coated article is also described.

Abstract: In a method for correcting errors occurring in attention (AT) commands of a mobile device, the mobile device includes a first user identity module (UIM) chipset, a second UIM chipset, a buffer and a timer. The method sets a response time for a communication between the first UIM chipset and the second chipset according to an AT command, backups the AT command into the buffer, and counts a communication time using the timer. When the communication time exceeds the response time, the method restarts the first UIM chipset using a watchdog timer and restarts the second UIM chipset by resetting voltage levels of I/O pins of the second UIM chipset. The method further clears the communication data stored in the buffer, reads the AT command from the buffer and resends the AT command to control the first UIM chipset to communicate with the UIM second chipset normally.

Abstract: In a method for avoiding mistouch on a touch screen of an electronic device, one or more specified regions on the touch screen is preset to avoid mistouch. In response to receiving a touch signal in the specified regions, the method determines whether a single-touch operation or a multi-touch operation is implemented. When a multi-touch operation is implemented, the touch signal received from the specified regions is ignored, and a response to touch signals received from non-specified region is executed. When a single-touch operation is implemented, a response to the touch signal received from the specified regions is executed.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a combination button and a gravity sensor. The gravity sensor detects gravity variation of the portable electronic device. When the combination button is pressed for a first predetermined time, the gravity sensor begins. When the combination button is pressed within a second predetermined time and the gravity sensor detects no gravity variation, the combination button's power switch function shuts down the portable electronic device. If the gravity sensor detects a gravity variation, the combination button's volume adjusting function can increase or decrease the volume of the portable electronic device according to the gravity variation.

The positioning mechanism includes a fixing element defining an opening and a sliding element fixing the external lens. The fixing element is slidably mounted on the portable electronic device to enable the opening to align with the internal camera. The sliding element is slidably mounted on the fixing element to enable the external lens to align with the opening and the internal camera. A portable electronic device using the external lens device is also described.

The method marks a navigation route on the indoor map according to the acquired position information, the predetermined direction and the target location, and outputs a prompt of the marked navigation route.
