Abstract: A data searching system is provided for real-time database searching. The data searching system includes a plurality of databases having respective maximum data capacity, and a searching module configured to provide a searching service interface. The data searching system also includes an index module configured to write received data into one of the plurality of databases, to treat the received data as the most up-to-date data to be stored over data having a longer existence time period in the plurality of database when the plurality of databases are filled; and to create indices of the plurality of databases. Further, the data searching system includes a transmission module configured to send the created indices of the plurality of databases to the searching module to provide searching results of the data searching system.

Abstract: A method for adjusting an input-method keyboard includes: recording the sliding trajectories of a user's two fingers, and the trajectories include two starting contact points and two ending contact points of the two-finger sliding gesture; calculating an adjustment ratio according to the sliding trajectories; obtaining the current state of the input-method keyboard, and the state can be one of a maximum state, an intermediate state and a minimum state; and adjusting the size and/or layout of the current input-method keyboard according to the adjustment ratio and the current state of the input-method keyboard. The mobile terminal for adjusting an input-method keyboard includes a recording module, a calculation module, an acquisition module and an adjustment module. This method allows users to intuitively modify the size and layout of the input-method keyboard comprehensively, thus avoids accidental operation, enhances the user experience and strengthens the reputation and competence of the product.

Abstract: A system, an apparatus and a method for recommending a thesaurus in an input method are provided. A thesaurus selecting unit is set on the network side to obtain a personal information of a user through the Internet; in a thesaurus set unit, one or more thesauruses are determined as matching the personal information of the user; and the determined thesauruses are sent to a terminal currently used by the user so that the thesaurus is available for being installed on the terminal currently used by the user. Further, before the thesauruses are sent to the terminal currently used by the user, under a condition that there are at least two determined thesauruses that match the personal information of the user, the determined thesauruses are sorted to obtain a list of thesauruses, where thesauruses in the list are sent to the terminal currently used by the user.

Abstract: A recommendation search method is provided for a search engine. The method includes recording a search log and a click log for query terms during search processes, and determining weights of tendencies of vertical searches for the query terms based on the recorded search log and click log. The method also includes, upon detecting a query term in a search box, determining recommended query terms relating to the query term in the search box, searching for the weights of tendencies of the vertical searches for each of the recommended query terms and determining a tendentious vertical search type for each of the recommended query terms based on the weights of tendencies of the vertical searches, and displaying each of the recommended query terms and links of the tendentious vertical search types for the recommended query terms.
