The compound can be complexed with metal ions on a surface of a cathode material, thereby inhibiting electrolyte decomposition on an electrode surface to improve high-temperature storage and cyclability of a battery.

During the soft transition, the PWM outputs change slowly from a fixed 50% duty cycle to a final value to ensure that no pop noise is present in the output as a result of mode change.

A conductive layer is formed on the silver layer and the conductive layer is etched, forming at least one opening. Such opening exposes a portion of the silver layer which contains a buried resistor. Different processes and materials applied in the above procedure serve to increase or decrease the resistance of the resistor as desired.
