    Abstract: A medicament for prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of a disease selected from the group consisting of a neurodegenerative disease such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Alzheimer's disease, rheumatic disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, ischemic heart disease such as myocardial infarction, stress ulcer, dermatitis, arteriosclerosis and hyperlipidemia, which comprises fineparticles of a noble metal such as platinum or an alloy containing a noble metal (e.g., platinum colloid) as an active ingredient.
