Abstract: A workpiece handling machine having an annular barrel structure capable of vibration caused by a plurality of vibration suppliers equipped with unbalancing weights includes a sensor system which is sensitive to any difference between the reference rotational angular phase of one unbalancing weight and those of the other unbalancing weights, and a control system which is responsive to the detected signals of the sensor system for providing an analog or digital feedback control, which adjusts the phase difference to the target value. As such, not only is the synchronized phase of rotation permitted, but also the advance angle of the unbalancing weights with regard to each other can be chosen, depending upon the operational requirements such as the kind of the workpiece and abrasive media, the workpiece working conditions, the time period of the operation, and other parameters.
Abstract: A centrifugal rotary barrel-type finishing machine makes use of the produced centrifugal force for the purpose of the work surface finishing, stirring, mixing and/or milling, including work or material handling upright tubs, each having a top opening and a bottom opening to be closed and reopened by a top cover and a bottom cover, respectively, the top cover being capable of moving up and down and thereby closing and reopening the top opening, and the bottom cover including a hinged-plate pivotally supported at one end, thereby simplifying the discharging and recharging operation of the contents.
Abstract: A vibratory plating apparatus having a plating liquid in a plating container, a base on which the container is mounted for vibrating movement, and a lid for the top of the container. The bottom of the container has an arcuate bottom. A vibration motor vibrates the container and electrodes are disposed within the container. With this plating apparatus, workpieces can be plated uniformly in a very short period of time at a high current density and with a small amount of plating liquid. Moreover, it eliminates troublesome steps of manually suspending and removing workpieces from hangers.
