Abstract: An electrically operated valve diagnosing method is provided that diagnoses an electrically operated valve with precision. A diagnosing apparatus suitable for implementing this diagnosing method is also provided. In the means, in the electrically operated valve diagnosing method for diagnosing a driving force of an electrically operated valve provided with a spring cartridge expanded and contracted in response to a reaction force acting on an axial direction of a worm in a valve element driving section, at both of open operation and close operation of the electrically operated valve, correlation between a driving force output signal from the valve element driving section and a driving force obtained from a compression state of the spring cartridge is possessed as a first correlation database.

  • Publication number: 20050245459
Abstract: A method of utilizing the physiological activity of a rare saccharide, wherein physiological-activity sensitive cells are treated with the rare saccharide to modify the function of the cells. A composition containing, as an active ingredient, a rare saccharide which is introduced into physiological-activity sensitive cells and has an effect of modifying the function of the cells. The cells are human cells. The composition is a functional food, a drug, or a cosmetic. The rare saccharide is a rare saccharide belonging to aldose and/or ketose. The aldose is D-allose, and the cells are selected from the group consisting of cancer-cell proliferation inhibitory activity sensitive cells and active-oxygen production inhibitory activity sensitive cells. The ketose is D-psicose, and the cells are selected from the group consisting of chemokine secretion inhibitory activity sensitive cells, microglia migration inhibitory activity sensitive cells, and hypoglycemic activity sensitive cells.

  • Patent number: 5162964
Abstract: A connection control device for controlling the connection of a small generator unit, which is installed at the consumer's location, to an electric power system. The connection control device detects variations in frequency components which result from interruptions in the distribution of electric power to the consumer from the electric power system. When a significant variation in a frequency component is present, the connection control device disconnects the consumer from the electric power system in order to prevent injury to line workers.

  • Patent number: 5111377
Abstract: In a power interconnection system between an electric power system and a power converter which makes AC power from a DC power source, a positive feed-back loop is constituted so as to include a frequency deviation detector, a band-pass filter, an inert zone circuit, an amplifier, an adder, a phase controller, an inverter controller, an inverter and an interconnection reactor. Thereby a sufficiently great frequency fluctuation is made after opening of a branch line switch, so as to produce a frequency abnormality signal to be given to a disconnection switch; and disconnection is made certainly.

  • Patent number: 5099145
Abstract: A system disconnection detection circuit for a distributed location power source having a generating element and an invertor for converting a generated output from the generating element into an AC output superimposes a selected signal on the AC output of the invertor. The circuit detects system disconnection on the output side of the invertor on the basis of the AC output of the invertor on which the selected signal has been superimposed.

  • Patent number: 4904310
Abstract: A method of irradiating a metal piece (5) with a laser beam for generating a metal vapor (11) required for a metal vapor laser to oscillate. The method makes it possible to reduce the time required to activate the laser as well as the response time required to adjust the metal vapor density. Metals having a high melting point can also be vaporized for laser oscillation in accordance with the method.
