  • Patent number: 10607722
Abstract: Provided is a system for helping an operator determine the target ion, collision energy and other analysis conditions. A chromatogram selected by an operator is displayed in a chromatogram display area of an MRM measurement parameter determination window. When the operator selects a point on this chromatogram, the name of a target compound which is registered in an event linked with a range of time including the selected point in time is displayed on a compound name display area. A plurality of mass spectra collected at that point in time are also displayed in a mass spectra display area in a vertically arranged form, using the same scale on the mass axis and the same scale on the intensity axis, with the scales of their mass axes aligned with each other in the vertical direction. The operator can then check whether the selected peak corresponds to the target compound.

  • Patent number: 10337988
Abstract: Modulation amplitude used for frequency modulation of laser light is set to a1 (<a2) (S1), and laser light is irradiated to a sample state in that state. When moisture concentration is calculated based on secondary harmonic synchronous detection signal that is obtained by synchronous detection of detection signal from transmitted light, the effects of interfering moisture in the optical chamber is ignored, and moisture concentration of the gas to be measured in the sample cell is obtained (S2). If, for example, a high vacuum is created inside the sample cell and the concentration becomes less than the detectable limit (“YES” in S3), the modulation amplitude is switched to a larger amount a2 (S4). By so doing, the detection sensitivity to interfering moisture in atmosphere at atmospheric pressure is increased, and the concentration of interfering moisture is calculated based on the secondary harmonic synchronous detection signal (S5).

  • Patent number: 10288561
Abstract: A gas analyzer is provided, capable of measuring specific gas amount information within a measurement target gas in which pressure varies greatly. The gas analyzer includes a calculation member for calculating specific gas amount information of the nth cycle, a gas pressure change amount calculation unit for calculating an amount of gas pressure change at each time, and a correction signal creation member for generating a time changing, corrected light intensity at each wavelength ?, by performing a fitting process using the time-changing intensity over a long time period in a time zone in which the amount of gas pressure change is small but using the time-changing intensity over a short time period in a time zone in which the amount of gas pressure change is large.

  • Patent number: 10062558
Abstract: A technique for improving the efficiency of injecting ions into the electrode unit of a funnel structure having high ion-transport efficiency is provided to improve the overall ion-transport efficiency. From an ionization chamber 1 for ionizing a sample under atmospheric pressure, ions are injected through a straight capillary pipe 3 into the inner space of the electrode unit 10 of a funnel structure composed of ring electrodes in a first intermediate vacuum chamber 4. The space for setting the capillary pipe 3 is formed by replacing one or more ring electrodes with C-shaped electrodes whose circumference portion is partially removed. Each C-shaped electrode is arranged so that the ions will be injected perpendicularly to the ion-transport direction.

  • Patent number: 10012572
Abstract: Provided is a technique for using an optical microscope image of an area on a sample to collect area-specific information characterizing each kind of biological tissue from imaging mass analysis data. On an optical image of a two-dimensional target area on a sample, a difference is examined in the kind of tissue or other features and areas are specified, each regarded as the same kind of tissue. When data processing is initiated, peak information is extracted, for each specified area, from mass spectrum data of all the measurement points. A peak method is applied to each area to extract peak information. Then, when a command to compare a set of areas is given, the peak information of those areas is collected. By comparing the peak information of different areas by a machine learning algorithm or similar judging technique, area-specific peak information is obtained, and this information is stored in memory.
