    Abstract: Provided is a method for analyzing a sample containing a sialic-acid-containing glycan including a modification specific to a sialic-acid linkage type. A representative peak is detected from mass spectrum data of a sample for each isotope peak cluster. For each representative peak, a glycan composition is estimated according to a specified glycan search condition, and a glycan-composition candidate is determined. From the representative peaks, an isomer peak cluster including peaks estimated to be identical in the number of sialic acids and the glycan composition exclusive of the sialic acids is detected. The candidates are narrowed down by applying, to each peak in the isomer peak cluster, predetermined constraint conditions concerning the number of sialic acids contained, number of sialic-acid linkage types, kinds of sialic acids, and identity of the glycan composition exclusive of the sialic acids. A candidate list, with visual discrimination between the selected and unselected candidates, is displayed.

    Abstract: According to a radiographic apparatus of this invention, an image correcting unit corrects offset for every pixel relative to a detection value outputted from a radiation detector having pixels for detecting radiation arranged in a two-dimensional array. In addition, the image correcting unit corrects the offset while holding noise components contained in the detection value. Thus, upon quantitative evaluation of the noises contained in the detection values outputted from the radiation detector, the noises of not only positive values but also negative values can be considered. Consequently, accurate evaluation may be achieved.

    Abstract: There are provided an X-ray CT system and an X-ray CT method in which a subject can be brought as close as possible to an X-ray source at all times while preventing interference of the subject with the X-ray source at the time of rotation, without confirmation by an operator by rotating a rotary stage before CT projection. A subject W placed on a rotary stage 3 is captured by an optical camera 6, and information about a shape, a size and a position relative to a rotational axis R, of the subject W, are acquired by image processing using captured data. Then, interference between the subject W and an X-ray source 1 is monitored on the basis of the information, or the rotary stage 3 is automatically positioned at a location where the subject approaches most closely to the X-ray source 1 without interference.
