Abstract: The present invention provides a twist prevention socket and an electrical device having the socket. The socket of the present invention includes a housing and a first plug, which is provided in an insertion part of the housing. The first plug is connected to a jack of a power cord. The socket further includes a second plug, which is provided in the housing at a position opposite the first plug and has a first contact member and a second contact member, which are connected to respective connection wires connected to the first plug. The first and second contact members are prevented from being electrically connected to each other, and have an arrangement of concentric circles. The socket further includes a mediating means, which includes a first connection member, which is connected to the first contact member of the second plug, and a second connection member, which is connected to the second contact member of the second plug and is electrically isolated from the first connection member.
