Patents Assigned to Shinsei Industries Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 7343954
Abstract: A label applying apparatus according to the present invention is constituted such that only energization power for a release operation of a manual lever is stored up during a grasp operation of the manual lever to a grip of a main body, and a label is delaminated from a backing paper web by the release operation of the manual lever, wherein the release operation ceases automatically when the release operation corresponds to a length of the label.

  • Patent number: 6328086
Abstract: A label continuum (R) in which a number of printed labels (L) are temporarily stacked on a mounting sheet (S) is made to travel from a label holder (31), and the mounting sheet (S), after being turned by a turn pin (32), is wound while pulled by a motor (21). In keeping with this, each of the labels (L) is peeled off and its non-adhesive face is brought to the sticking section of a rotator. By a mounting sheet slack detecting circuit (50), the motor (21) is driven when the mounting sheet is slack, while by a label detecting circuit (60), the motor (21) is driven until a label is completely stuck and a next label is peeled off and is brought to the sticking section.

  • Patent number: 6008832
Abstract: A thermal head (255) is placed on a head block plate (230) cantilevered to a base portion (103) to come into contact with, or separate from, a platen roller (210), and an operating member (260) manually operated Is rotatably provided for this contact or separation. The operating member (260) is designed so that the thermal head (255) is made to abut against the platen roller (210) on the way to the final stage of operation, a spring (270) for pressing the thermal head against the platen roller is biased, and at the final stage, an end (260e) thereof is trapped, into a receiver (190a) constructed integral with the base portion to support a part of the side on which the head block plate (230) is not supported. In this way, the stability of operation and durability are assured.

  • Patent number: 5900108
Abstract: An arm (10c) of a manual lever (10) is formed with a pushing portion (10f). A ratchet pawl (17) making reciprocal movement in synchronization with the manual lever (10) is formed with a resilient portion (17a) to be pushed by the pushing portion (10f) and a pawl portion (17b) which makes contact with a tooth of the ratchet wheel (19). A printer (P) is disposed at tip ends of the arms (10c, 10d). The ratchet wheel (19) is integral with the transfer drum (18). In the step of gripping the manual lever (10), the resilient portion (17a) is made to deform, and the pawl portion (27b) makes slide movement toward a tip end of a tooth. At the moment when the pawl portion (17b) gets over the tip end of a tooth, a resistive force against the manual lever (10) is significantly reduced, and as a result, the printer (P) makes impact contact with a label and prints marks on the label. When the label tape (12) is to set, the bottom cover (14) is made open.

  • Patent number: 5619916
Abstract: A printer comprising printing type belts 16 and 16' having printing types 16b and 16b' as well as indicating types 16d and 16d', and setting wheels 7 and 7' for turning the printing type belts, and configured to limit the turnings of the printing type belts for preventing the indicating types from being fouled, and to allow the setting wheels to rotate idly for preventing breakage of the printer itself after the printing type belts have reached rotation-limited positions. The rotation-limited position is determined by a pair of convexities 16e and 16f or 16e' and 16f' formed on each of the printing type belts and edges 4a and 5a or 4a' and 5a' of display window frames 4 and 5 or 4' and 5'. The setting wheels are allowed to rotate idly by recesses which are formed in the printing type belts so as to be engaged with teeth 7b and 7b' of the setting wheels, and configured so as to have slanted surfaces 16h and 16h' rising from sides near the convexities toward sides far from the convexities.
