Abstract: A seismic reinforcement device for a bridge includes a first member having a projecting portion and a second member having a depressed portion. The device has a horizontal force sharing function in which the projecting and the depressed portions are freely fitted to and engaged with one another to constitute a shear key and resist a horizontal force by causing the first member to be coupled to and supported by any one of the substructure and the superstructure and causing the second member to be coupled to and supported by the other of the substructure and the superstructure. In addition, the device has a level difference preventive function that suppresses dropping of the superstructure and reduces a level difference of the substructure and the superstructure by interposing a spacer having a predetermined thickness between the first and second members or between the substructure or the superstructure and the device.

  • Publication number: 20140224670
Abstract: To provide an anode, corrosion-protecting structure of a concrete constructions using this, and a corrosion protection method capable of protecting electrical corrosion, with little generation of gas due to electrolysis of water or chlorine compounds, by decreasing as far as possible the amount of processing performed on the structural body in on-site construction work and suppressing the voltage that is conducted therethrough to a low level. [Solution] A corrosion-protecting structure (1) is constituted by attaching an anode (10) to the surface layer (3) of a corrosion-protecting body (4) through a first electrolyte layer (12) on one face of a conductive layer (11) formed as a sheet. The electrolyte is formed as a sheet. The first electrolyte layer (12) having adhesiveness is attached to the conductive layer (11) and the surface layer (3) of the corrosion-protecting body (4).

  • Publication number: 20020020224
Abstract: There is a difficulty in workability of installing an optical fiber cable on a concrete structure, and when the optical fiber cable is installed on the surface of the concrete structure, the appearance of the concrete structure is spoilt by cutting the surface of the concrete structure or the like. Accordingly, there are provided a sheet-like strain sensor for confirming progress of damage of a concrete structure, in which one or a plurality of optical fiber cables are fixedly held between sheet-like bodies which are easy for the adhesive to permeate while one end/ends of the optical fiber cable/cables are pulled out; and a method for confirming progress of damage of a concrete structure by measuring strain by use of the one end of the optical fiber cable pulled out between the sheet-like bodies.

  • Patent number: 6183567
Abstract: A graffiti removing method including the steps of: applying a solvent condensation type silicone resin coating composition having water repellency onto a surface of a base material of a structure through a primer layer to form an adhesion-resistant surface layer on the primer layer; applying a releasable coating composition onto the surface layer to form a releasable layer, after graffiti are written onto the surface layer; and releasing the releasable layer from the surface layer after the releasable layer is hardened to thereby remove the graffiti together with the releasable layer from a surface of the surface layer, whereby although graffiti remaining on a surface layer are generally removed by wiping, or the like, not only it is difficult to wipe off graffiti but also the surface layer may be injured.
