Patent number: 11298625Abstract: An action figure gaming assembly includes a controller and an action figure. The controller includes an actuator and a rotating surface. The action figure is attached to and rotates on a rotating surface when the actuator is activated. The action figure performs one of several attack maneuvers (weapon strike, punch, kick, lean and slap, and telescoping first) and one of several death configurations (torso split, disintegration, scissor split, and a forward or backward collapse). During game play, the action figure gaming assembly duels against other action figure gaming assemblies. Activation of the actuator causes the action figure to rotate with the rotation surface of the controller and to strike an opponent. Activation of the trigger portion by an opponent causes the action figure to transition to the death mode. In the death mode, part of a first body portion separates from part of a second body portion.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2020Date of Patent: April 12, 2022Assignee: Shoot the Moon Products, II, LLCInventors: Johan Vreugdenhil, Russell G. Patent number: 11250663Abstract: A radio mesh network gaming system comprises a gaming device that includes a controller. The controller maintains a routing table and game state information. The gaming device forms a radio mesh network along with other gaming devices. The routing table stores next hop information for communicating with other devices over the radio mesh network. The radio mesh network determines a playing area of a game and the playing area changes as gaming devices move throughout the playing area and are added or removed from the game. In one example communication between from a first and third device, the first device communicates the information to a second device in accordance with next hop information stored in the routing table of the first device. The second device then communicates the information to the third device in accordance with next hop information stored in a routing table of the second gaming device.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2019Date of Patent: February 15, 2022Assignee: Shoot the Moon Products, II, LLCInventors: Ryan Bales, David Small

Patent number: 8678877Abstract: Marker tag darts, dart guns therefor, and methods which allow a toy gun to receive a marker tag dart, to put water in the forward tip of the dart and to shoot the dart. The marker tag dart itself has slits in the wall of a small chamber at the front of the dart so that on impact with a target, the inertia of the water causes deformation of the tip and opening of the slits to eject water for marking the location of the marker tag dart hit. The dart guns are spring chocked, and propel the dart with a blast of air from an air pump powered by the spring. Various embodiments and modes of operation are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2013Date of Patent: March 25, 2014Assignee: Shoot the Moon Products II, LLCInventors: Richard Jonathan Corlett, David B. Patent number: 7815485Abstract: Pose and play dolls that will stand on a platform by magnetic attraction and dance with lifelike animation, but which may be removed from the stand for ordinary play. The dolls include animation powered from the platform through the legs of the doll. A motor in the doll animates the doll body, arms and head, with proportional feedback allowing control by a controller in coordination with music being played. The doll head may rotate or gyrate, and the arms swing as a unit or with the lower arms bending as the arms swing. In one form of platform simply rotates through controlled angles, again in coordination with the music being played. In another form of doll, the hips are configured to swing back and forth, and another form of platform controls the hip movement, again in coordination with the music being played. Various other features and capabilities are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2008Date of Patent: October 19, 2010Assignee: Shoot the Moon Products II, LLCInventors: Sunil William Moothedath, Russell G.
