Abstract: An active start judgment circuit is electrically connected to an AC/DC transforming power supply which has at least one standby power unit to transform AC to DC in regular conditions and a main power unit to transform the AC to the DC in an ON condition for operation of an electronic equipment. The start judgment circuit bridges the standby power unit and the main power unit, and generates a reference potential based on a voltage output from the standby power unit, and gets a power signal from the standby power unit to be compared with the reference potential to output a start signal to the main power unit to transform the AC to the DC. Thus the standby power unit can actively drive the main power unit to supply DC power to activate the electronic equipment.

Abstract: An inlet airflow guiding structure for a computer includes a computer chassis, a front bezel, an airflow guiding space defined between the front bezel and the computer chassis, and a plurality of inlet airflow openings. The airflow guiding space and the inlet airflow openings provide a low airflow impedance inlet that facilitates the movement of the incoming inlet airflow. The front cooling fan in the computer is thereby capable of providing lower-temperature air into computer for efficiently dissipating heat generated for high-speed CPU.

Abstract: A fan assembly includes a fan mounted within a housing that features an inward concave arrangement for an inner face of its housing to reduce the distance between the housing and a center shaft of the fan blades. In this way, fan vibration and noise can be reduced.
