    Abstract: A dental appliance or prosthesis has its removable member connected to its fixed member by a clamping rib which is engaged in a groove and can have longitudinal wall portions separated from a base by respective slits, bulged outwardly by a cap screw whose shank is threadedly engageable in the base of the rib and whose head bears against conical recesses along inner surfaces of the longitudinal wall portions of the rib.
