    Abstract: A four-cylinder diaphragm pump includes a pump body having four pump chambers, and a drive mechanism that expands and contracts the four pump chambers with a predetermined phase difference, in which the pump body includes a first diaphragm having two diaphragm portions on a same plane, and a second diaphragm having two diaphragm portions on a same plane disposed to be located to be parallel to or coplanar with the plane of the first diaphragm, each of the diaphragm portions of the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm constitute a portion of a different pump chamber, and the drive mechanism is configured to move the diaphragm portions of the first diaphragm and the second diaphragm forward or backward with respect to the corresponding pump chambers with a predetermined phase difference.

At least one pressure regulation means (164A) in the two or more pressure regulation means (164) is constructed so as to be detachable from and attachable to the other pressure regulation means (164B). The gas supply/discharge pipes (174a to 174d) are constructed so that a part near the front end can be flexed in a vertical direction and in a lateral direction.

    Abstract: An adjustable flow pump, particularly an air pump, utilizing reciprocal movement of a diaphragm movement bar to achieve pumping. The stroke of the reciprocating diaphragm movement bar can be adjusted without stopping operation of the pump. The diaphragm movement bar is mounted on a pump main body and a swing member is operably coupled to a rotary output shaft of a motor. The rotary output shaft is connected to a cam which imparts motion to the swing member. The movement of the swing member is transmitted, by a linking member, to the reciprocating diaphragm movement bar which then moves along a linear guide. The stroke of the diaphragm movement bar is adjusted by a linear motion mechanism which is operable to change the position of the swing member relative to the diaphragm movement bar.
