Abstract: A dental implant for insertion in a jaw bone has a receiving opening arranged on a coronal end of the dental implant for an abutment, the receiving opening when viewed from the coronal end having a taper section and an indexing section, the indexing section having at least one outwardly extending groove arranged along a circular circumference, the taper section having a conical angle of less than 3°.
Abstract: An insertion post for transferring onto a model a location and orientation of at least one implant introduced in a jaw of a patient includes an insert piece insertable in the implant and to realize a fixed rotative connection with an interface of an internal opening of the implant. An end piece is arranged adjacent to the insert piece and tapers towards an apical end of the implant while substantially maintaining an outer contour of the insert piece.
Abstract: An insertion post for transferring onto a model a location and orientation of at least one implant introduced in a jaw of a patient includes an insert piece which is configured for insertion in the implant and to realize a fixed rotative connection with an interface of an internal opening of the implant. An end piece is arranged adjacent to the insert piece and tapers towards an apical end of the implant while substantially maintaining an outer contour of the insert piece.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a dental implant with a post part which can be introduced into a jaw bone and with a mounting part on which a dental prosthesis piece can be mounted. The dental implant allows a dental technician to choose a particularly favorable orientation for further assembling of the components, and at the same time to make it possible for the person performing the treatment to make use of the advantages of an indexing without using auxiliary tools.
Abstract: An implant system (160) for fastening a blocked, detachable dental prosthesis (172) in a patient's jaw (166), comprising at least one distal implant (130) and at least one mesial implant (2), wherein each implant (2, 130) comprises a screw-in part (8) with an external thread (14), an abutment (20, 136) which can be inserted into the screw-in part (8), and a functional part (26) for fastening the dental prosthesis (172), which can be screwed together with the abutment (20, 136) by means of a functional screw (32), shall improve the anchorage of a blocked dental prosthesis (172) in a jaw (166) as against conventional solutions. For this purpose, according to the invention, the abutment (20) of each mesial implant (2) is made up of several parts, in particular of two parts.
