Abstract: A mix for the manufacture of ceramic articles comprising at least two of the following components a frit comprising silicon dioxide present in a concentration by weight, evaluated with respect to the total weight of the frit, comprised between 30% and 75%; calcium oxide or magnesium oxide present in a concentration by weight, evaluated with respect to the total weight of the frit, comprised between 0.01% and 50%; aluminum oxide, present in a concentration by weight, evaluated with respect to the total weight of the frit, comprised between 0.01% and 30%; one or more flux materials comprising tectosilicates; one or more binding materials comprising phyllosilicates.
