The insulating part of said support (6) also guarantees better heat exchange at the end-wall (2) of the mould with the heat-transfer fluid. The cover (7) of the end-wall (2) may include a lock ring (15) that cooperates with the segments (13) placed on the half-moulds (1). This lock ring (15) may also he made of an insulating plastic.
