Abstract: The present technology is directed to apparatuses, machines and methods for determining the level of expression of creatine kinase enzyme in cancerous tissues, as well as for determining malignancy and providing a cancer prognosis. The method is based on overexpression of creatine kinase in cancer tissue and enhanced transformation of injected phosphocreatine substrate into creatine as detectable by NMR.
