  • Publication number: 20130311791
Abstract: A security device and a method provide a cryptographic key for a field device. The security device is connected to at least one tamper sensor which is associated with the field device and which, when a physical manipulation carried out on the field device is detected, a manipulation message is emitted. The cryptographic key is only provided to the field device by the security device if the security device does not receive a manipulation message from the tamper sensors associated with the field device.

  • Patent number: 7403003
Abstract: An assembly for magnetic field generation in a magnetic resonance tomography apparatus has a device for generation of a basic magnetic field, a vacuum vessel surrounding the basic field device and a device for generation of at least one gradient magnetic field. The assembly has a volume with a reduced magnetic field strength in a region between windings of at least one superconducting coil of the basic field device and a non-conductive wall of the vacuum vessel. The gradient field device is fashioned as a superconductor and is at least partially accommodated in this volume.

  • Publication number: 20070250211
Abstract: In a network using quality test letters (QTL), transport courses are automatically analyzed and physical characteristics are recorded over time during the transport and subsequently read out and classified. The method identifies each QTL message in a node, and determines spatiotemporal relations with respect to nodes passed through. The logistical process chain passed through by each message is automatically determined with process elements from the spatiotemporal relations. All possible required transport courses of each QTL message sent are automatically generated, starting from a respective point of network entry and point of network exit, with associated times as well as selected transport conditions from defined transport rules between the nodes of the logistics network and from a description of execution sequences in the nodes and the relationships between the nodes.

  • Patent number: 5905770
Abstract: A storage framework for nuclear reactor fuel elements includes a baseplate on which a plurality of structural wells of essentially rectangular cross section are fastened. The structural wells stand upright on the baseplate and in each case are disposed approximately diagonally opposite one another in a checkered manner. Structural wells located diagonally opposite one another in each case span an interspace. A neutron-absorbing structure with boron-treated steel is disposed in the interspace and/or in the structural wells, is displaceable relative to the structural wells and has plates made from boron-treated steel. The plates form an essentially rectangular absorber well which does not take on any load-bearing functions of the storage framework. The absorber well is fixed in its position by spacers, in particular edge beads, on the plates.

  • Patent number: 5811964
Abstract: A polarized measuring light is provided to a sensing means under the influence of an alternating electrical quantity, the polarization of the measuring light changing as a function of the alternating electrical quantity. After passing through the sensing means, the measuring light is split into two differently polarized partial light signals, which are then converted into electrical intensity signals S1 and S2. An intensity-normalized signal P=(S1-S2)/(S1+S2) is then formed. A temperature-compensated measured signal can then be derived from the alternating signal component PAC and the direct signal component PDC of the intensity-normalized signal according to the equation S=(a*PAC+b*1)/(c*PDC+d*1). The temperature sensitivity can thus be reduced by a factor of ten.

  • Patent number: 4906994
Abstract: A multi-stage integrated decoder device has a special function which facilitates the simultaneous activation of a plurality and as many as all of its outputs. When it is used as a bit line decoder it is thus possible to activate a plurality and as many as all of the bit lines (including any redundant bit lines) of a block of storage cells of a semiconductor memory.
