Abstract: A method is disclosed for generating computed tomography image data records of a patient in a heart CT scan during a perfusion control by applying contrast agent. In at least one embodiment, a plurality of temporally consecutive CT data records are recorded as an exposure series with a CT system and if necessary are reconstructed. These CT data records are improved for better visualization of the perfusion by way of electronic filtering and post-processing, with all projection and/or image data determined during a CT scan being used, however with the aid of frequency filtering only the data of a projection or of a reconstructed image for generating a final representation being used which does not fall within a predetermined local frequency range of a heart movement.

Abstract: Manufacturing planning data for a production process that is managed by a manufacturing execution system is updated by way of a plurality of steps, which include: Gathering data from a PLC level relevant to the manufacturing planning data and the execution of the production process; mapping the gathered data with the current manufacturing planning data in order to determine suggested changes between the gathered data and the current manufacturing planning data; applying a predetermined update scenario for the manufacturing planning data depending on the suggested changes to update the manufacturing planning data; and adapting the current production process and optionally following production processes according to the updated manufacturing planning data. The reliability of the so-called standard data used in production planning processes is thus dramatically improved.
Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention relates to a method for the reconstruction of image data of an examined object from measuring data, wherein the measuring data were detected by a detector within and outside of its Tam-Danielsson window during a relative spiral movement between a radiation source of a computer tomography system and the examined object. As a result of the spiral movement, the measuring data outside of the Tam-Danielsson contain interruptions. A mathematically precise first reconstruction of first image data is realized in at least one embodiment based on the measuring data by using only measuring data from the Tam-Danielsson window.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for gasifying combustible dusts in an entrained flow gasifier with several gasification burners. Each gasification burner is associated with one or a plurality of lock hopper and dosing systems having a plurality of supply flows. This has the advantage that the burners will continue to operate in the event of a failure of one supply flow.
Abstract: Message traffic between a communications unit and a first network unit of a mobile radio system, initiated by an SIP control message, is monitored. The SIP control message is evaluated by a second network unit by using at least one analysis parameter and an analysis result is generated therefrom. The analysis result is used for generating at least one item for utilization information of the first network unit that monitors the message traffic between the communications unit and the first network unit.

The cameras are fixedly disposed on a track section laterally and above the train set. A region of the contact wire having a carrier device and at least one current collector can be detected by the at least one lateral camera and flanks of the train set can be detected by the at least two upper cameras. An evaluation unit is provided for determining the state of the at least one current collector, at least one clearance dimension of the train set and at least one actual position of the contact wire, or a combination thereof. Detected deviations from standards are indicated and allocated to individual cars.
Abstract: A device and method for reducing energy consumption of a machine in automation engineering are disclosed. The device includes an operating unit with a display configured to display energy profiles indicating associated conditions activatable by an operator of the machine, and a monitoring unit receiving the energy profiles from the operating unit and monitoring fulfillment of activated conditions and generating for each of the energy profiles a status signal, when all activated conditions of an energy profile are fulfilled. A disconnection unit disconnects at least one energy consuming component of the machine commensurate with the status signal. The energy consumption of a machine in the field of automation engineering can thereby be reduced.
Abstract: A field device for process instrumentation comprising a measurement transducer having an analog output to which a two-wire line can be connected for transmitting an analog output signal, wherein a unit galvanically separates the processor from an analog output circuit. A read-back channel for a pulse-width modulated digital signal, which is tapped behind an element for galvanic separation, is provided for monitoring generation of the analog output signal, and a unit is provided for monitoring the analog output signal to maintain a specifiable maximum deviation from a reference signal, which is generated in the same manner as the analog output signal by low-pass filtering from the pulse-width modulated digital signal. In the case of transient signals, the monitoring unit advantageously detects error states quickly and appropriate measures for reacting to the error states can therefore be implemented in less time.
Abstract: A method controls a translation of predefined rules and/or of incoming data. The data is described in an XML schema. A conversion of hierarchically arranged elements of the XML schema into a list containing list entries is performed. This is effected in that for an element representing a parent component in the XML schema, a fact class is created which for every possible relationship arising from the parent component contains a fact element containing all elements of the path of the relevant relationship of the XML schema, wherein the fact elements represent the list entries of the fact class. At least one of the fact elements is assigned property information which represents a processing instruction for the assigned fact element for the translation of the rules and/or data. A translation of the rules and/or data is affected.
Abstract: A grounded burner, actuators adjusting the supply of fuel and air to the burner, an ionization electrode in the flame region, a flame amplifier at the ionization electrode generating an ionization signal, and a final control device are included in a burner system. During air ratio control mode, the final control device sets a first actuator and adjusts a second actuator. During voltage control mode a voltage regulator controls the AC voltage source using the AC voltage measured by the voltmeter, in conjunction with an ionization current amplifier. The voltmeter is connected in parallel with a sequence of the ionization electrode, the flame region, the burner and the input of the ionization current amplifier. The voltage regulator is connected to the voltmeter such that, during voltage control mode, the time-averaged current caused by the voltmeter through the connection is less than 5% of the time-averaged current through the ionization electrode.

Abstract: A magnetic resonance sequence model that is a formal description of a measurement sequence is used to automate measurement sequence programming. The sequence model allows a system-independent specification of the measurement sequence for execution in a magnetic resonance scanner. The sequence model is as formal as possible; it is limited to the minimum required information for description of a measurement sequence without limiting the flexibility in the sequence programming. A method for formal description of the measurement sequence describes the measurement sequence by a number of parameters to be parameterized. The parameterization of the measurement sequence can ensue automatically from the formalized description of the measurement sequence, except for a set of parameters that are still be determined.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for detecting collisions of parcels on a moving conveyor belt, including the steps of representing each belt with a rectangular cell mesh of columns and rows, for each parcel on the belt system, identifying those cells on a belt where each parcel contacts the belt, marking a parcel's new cell position after a predetermined time frame in a direction parallel to the motion, for each marked cell, incrementing a corresponding collision detector counter in a collision detection table, marking a parcel's new cell position after the predetermined time frame in a direction perpendicular to the motion, for each marked cell, incrementing a corresponding collision detector counter in the collision detection table, and checking the collision detector counter value in each cell, where a value greater than or equal to 3 indicates a parcel collision.
Abstract: A method for securely encrypting or decrypting a message or for generating or verifying a digital signature in a message, in which the message is subjected, with the aid of a processor, to a mathematical operation using a key (k) which can be represented in the form of a binary number with a sequence of bits, and computational operations are sequentially carried out on auxiliary variables for each bit. The dependence of the computational result on the values of individual bits is taken into account by reading the memory addresses from the auxiliary variables and assigning them to address variables. The difference between the addresses is calculated and, depending on the respective current bit, is added to, or subtracted from, the computer addresses. The assignment of the auxiliary variables to the address variables can thus be interchanged. As a result, the order and selection of the computational operations is controlled on the basis of bits without the program sequence having to contain jump instructions.
