Abstract: A method for coupling a rotational device, particularly a steam turbine, and a shaft device, particularly a gas turbine, the method including the following steps: accelerating the rotational device up to an output rotational speed that is below the rotational speed of the shaft device; detecting a differential angle between the shaft device and the rotational device; and accelerating the rotational device with an acceleration value that is derived from the target rotational speed difference, which is formed as a function of the detected differential angle, the acceleration and a desired target coupling angle. An associated arrangement couples a rotational device.

Abstract: A wind turbine tower with an elevator system and a method to install the elevator system is provided. The tower for a wind turbine comprises includes an elevator system including guide wires. The guide wires are connected to a guide wire fixture arrangement. Abstract: In a method and a pulse sequence optimization device to determine a pulse sequence for a magnetic resonance system, a pulse sequence is selected for optimization that includes a number of radio-frequency pulses and a number of gradient pulses chronologically coordinated therewith. An automatic analysis of the pulse sequence takes place to identify fixed point/time periods in the pulse sequence that are to be left unmodified, and modifiable time intervals in the pulse sequence that may be optimized. An automatic optimization of gradient pulses in the modifiable time intervals takes place according to a predetermined optimization criterion, while keeping the length of modifiable time intervals constant.
Abstract: A charging device for inductively charging a drive battery of an electrically-drivable vehicle includes a primary coil, which can be moved in a first direction towards a secondary coil of the vehicle by a pressurized medium. The primary coil is disposed on a holding device which is at least partially elastic. Abstract: For reducing vibrations and noise in electrical machines a rotor is mounted in a magnetic alignment device while a bearing shield is loosely held relative to a stator. The rotor is driven by the stator and vibrations of the rotor are detected. A magnetic alignment device is controlled so as to reduce the vibrations. Finally the bearing shield is fixed to the stator in a position determined by the controlling of the magnetic alignment device. Thus electromagnetic forces are taken into consideration during vibration and noise reduction.
