  • Patent number: 12162525
Abstract: A method and system for managing traffic of guided vehicles over a railway network include a first ATS system for regulating traffic of guided vehicles over a first regulation domain of the network and a second ATS system configured for regulating traffic of guided vehicles over a second regulation domain. The regulation domains have a common boundary and at least one track connects a first position within the first regulation domain to a second position within the second regulation domain. The second ATS system detects limited traffic capacity at the second position and automatically computes, as a function of the detected limited traffic capacity, a target headway between two successive guided vehicles crossing the common boundary for entering the second regulation domain. The first ATS system automatically determines, from the received target headway, a reference timetable, complying with the received target headway, for the first regulation domain.

  • Patent number: 12037034
Abstract: A method and system for managing guided vehicle traffic over a railway network include a first ATS system regulating guided vehicle traffic over a first regulation domain and a second ATS system regulating guided vehicle traffic over a second regulation domain. The first and second regulation domains have a common boundary. The first ATS system sends, to the second ATS system, configuration and circulation data for a part of the first regulation domain, for regulating guided vehicle traffic on the part according to a set of regulation data from the second ATS system. The second ATS system determines, from received configuration and circulation data, regulation data for an extended regulation domain including the second regulation domain and the part and for sending to the first ATS system the set of regulation data regulating the guided vehicle traffic on the part of the regulation domain of the first ATS system.

  • Patent number: 11904916
Abstract: A system and a method automatically detect whether a vehicle entering a track section of a railway network is shorter than a predefined length. The method includes detecting at a time T0 an entry of the vehicle on a first track subsection. From the time T0, the occupancy states of at least a first subsection and a third subsection are determined in dependence on the time. The occupancy state is either “occupied” or “free”. The occupancy states for at least first and third subsections is reported to an evaluation unit at least until the occupancy state of the first subsection is “free”. The reported occupancy states determined for the at least first and third subsections are processed by the evaluation unit, and from a temporal evolution of the occupancy states of the first and third subsections, it is determined whether the entering vehicle is shorter than the predefined length.

  • Patent number: 10647336
Abstract: A method and a system for checking the correct rail position of a guide member of a guided vehicle. The system is based on the use of an electrical switch designed to cooperate with a guide member of the vehicle guided by at least one guide rail. The switch has two states, respectively a first state and a second state. In one of the states the electrical switch is open and in the other state the electrical switch is closed. The switch is mounted on a load-bearing structure such that it is able to interact with the guide member. The switch is able to switch from the first state to the second state by interacting with at least one part of the guide member.

  • Patent number: 10482560
Abstract: A method and a system secure a remote video transmission. A marker digitally encoded in bits is generated for an image. The encoded marker contains an identifier of the camera and a time variable. The encoded marker is inserted into the image. The insertion is carried out by adding, for each bit of the encoded marker, a pattern to the image in the spatial domain. The conversion of the pattern into the spectral domain is a predefined sub matrix of which a frequency coefficient encodes the bit of the marker. The encoded marker is extracted from the secure image. The time variable is verified by comparing with the time reference and the identifier of the camera to check the temporal freshness of the secure image and the origin of same. A failure is flagged if one of the items of information included in the encoded marker violates a security criterion.

  • Patent number: 10462427
Abstract: A method and system secure remote video transmissions for the remote control of a vehicle. The system secures the remote transmission of an image via a photosensitive receiver of a camera capable of remotely displaying the image. The system contains an optical securing information generator capable of generating optical securing information and an optical module capable of optically superimposing a securing image including the optical securing information and the image of the object to form a secured optical image for acting on the photosensitive receiver capable of generating a video signal. The system couples a device for remotely receiving the video signal from the video system to a device for processing the video signal. The video signal processing device is capable of detecting, reading and extracting optical securing information in the video signal of the secured optical image. The system has a display device for displaying the optical securing information.
