Abstract: Method for mounting a super structure over a top end of a foundation pile, wherein the top end has a truncated conical shape and the super structure has an opening fitting over said top end, which opening preferably has a truncated conical peripheral surface fitting over said top end, wherein a guide structure is placed at said top end, comprising at least one sloping guide surface, where after said super structure is lowered over the guide structure onto the top end of the foundation pile.
Abstract: An offshore structure that includes a pile of a foundation and at least one offshore element mounted on the pile and forming a slip joint, wherein disposed between an inner surface of the offshore element and an outer surface of the pile is a coating, especially an anti-fouling coating, for increasing friction between the two surfaces and/or preventing corrosion of one or both of the surfaces and/or at least two spaced apart areas are provided with a substance, forming a seal between the outer surface and the inner surface, near an upper end of the pile and the off shore element and between a lower end of the off shore element and the pile.
Abstract: A monopile coating process, comprising: placing a monopile on roller supports, wherein the roller supports are provided with rotating means for rotating the monopile when the monopile is placed on the roller supports, and wherein the rollers are supporting the monopile and are located at one or more positions along the axis of the monopile when the monopile is placed on the roller supports, applying a thermally sprayed metallic coating, such as an aluminium or zinc-aluminium coating, to parts of the circumferential external surface of the monopile corresponding to the one or more positions, and, compressing at least part of the thermally sprayed metallic coating by rotating the monopile using the roller supports is disclosed. A monopile and a monopile coating system are also disclosed.

Abstract: Method for forming tubular segments, wherein a metal strip is or a series of metal strips is pressed into a tubular or truncated conical shape, such that opposite longitudinal ends of the strip or strips meet, forming at least one seam, where after the seam is welded, joining the meeting ends together, wherein at least after welding the cross sectional profile of at least part of the segment is measured, at least at and/or near said welded seam or seams, and data of said measurement is fed into a control unit, where after a press is operated by the control unit based on said data, adjusting the cross sectional profile of the segment, at least at the or each seam.
