  • Patent number: 12347035
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer readable storage medium directed to implementing a room scale virtual reality system which enables players to walk through a large virtual playing area in a physically limited size room. Physical tracking of a virtual reality headset is used so that the position and orientation of the virtual reality headset is identified to translate the physical player's motion into the virtual world which is displayed on the virtual reality headset. Relocation objects are placed in the virtual world so they correspond to physical location against physical walls. Relocation objects in the virtual world rotate and/or relocate the player in the virtual world which would typically cause the player in the physical world to turn around and thus walk away from the physical wall. Placement of relocation objects throughout the virtual world enable a large virtual world to be implemented using a small finite sized physical room.

  • Patent number: 12319856
Abstract: The present disclosure teaches an article of manufacture using an industrial (or commercial) manufacturing process. The article of manufacture comprises an infrared (IR) luminescent material that emits in the IR wavelength range (e.g., from approximately seven-hundred nanometers (˜700 nm) to approximately one millimeter (˜1 mm)) after being excited by incident wavelengths of between ˜100 nm and ˜750 nm (or visible light). In other words, once the material has been exposed to visible light, the material will continue to emit in the IR wavelength range for a period of time, even when the material is no longer exposed to the visible light.

  • Patent number: 12213914
Abstract: Described here are systems and methods for accessing Schlemm's canal and for delivering an ocular device, tool, or fluid composition therein. The ocular devices may maintain the patency of Schlemm's canal without substantially interfering with transmural fluid flow across the canal. The fluid composition may be a viscoelastic fluid that is delivered into the canal to facilitate drainage of aqueous humor by disrupting the canal and surrounding trabeculocanalicular tissues. Some systems described here may be configured to cut or tear the trabecular meshwork with the body of an elongate member located within Schlemm's canal. Other tools for disrupting these tissues and minimally invasive methods for treating medical conditions associated with elevated intraocular pressure, including glaucoma, are also described.
