    Abstract: An eyeglass frame of the type having at least a member made from the Ni-Ti base alloy with a shape-memory effect, the member being joined with another member by soldering. The Ni-Ti base alloy member has a portion previously coated by a Ni or Ni-alloy plating of 3 to 50 micron thickness and then joined to the other member by soldering to increase the adhesive strength between the portions soldered to a desired extent.
