Abstract: An assembly for decorating a plurality of objects, such as egg-shaped objects. The assembly has a support structure; a vessel for containing decorating material, with an dispensing opening at the bottom; a tether with a first tether end attached to the support structure and a second tether end attached to the vessel; and a substrate base for supporting the plurality of objects. The vessel is configured to swing freely over the objects on the substrate base to dispense the decorating material contained therein to the objects.

Abstract: This invention provides a decorative icing comprising (a) sugar in an amount of between 65% and 85% by weight; (b) water in an amount of between 8% and 16% by weight; (c) corn syrup in an amount of between 1.5% and 7% by weight; and (d) a gum blend in an amount of between 0.3% and 1% by weight, the gum blend comprising, in descending order of amount, gum arabic, propylene glycol alginate and xanthan gum; wherein the icing is ready to use, flowable, protein-free, and hardens after exposure to air. This invention also provides related articles of manufacture, kits, and methods for making and using the instant icing.

Abstract: A color decorating spray composition comprises a color lake dispersion, an oil, a humectant, an alcohol, a color carrier and drying agent, a color suspending agent, an antifoaming agent, an emulsifier and a propellant. An apparatus for dispensing the composition includes a lined aerosol container filled with the composition, and an aerosol valve assembly including a mounting cup crimped to a formed collar on the container. The valve assembly further includes a valve body fixed in a central aperture of the mounting cup, a valve stem concentrically located in the valve body and loaded against a vapor orifice thereof by a coil spring, and an actuator fitted to the top of the stem. The valve stem has a powder-capable orifice provided with a bead which causes powder to be blown away when the actuator is depressed and composition is expelled through a space between the stem and the valve body.
