Abstract: A two-component composition, component K1, including at least one (meth)acrylate monomer, at least one elastomer having (meth)acrylate end groups, at least one additive selected from the group consisting of activator for free-radical curing, inhibitor for free-radical curing, filler and adhesion promoter; and a component K2 including at least one initiator for free-radical curing wherein the elastomer is a polyurethane (meth)acrylate produced from the reaction of at least one diol including at least one dimer fatty acid-based polyester diol with at least one diisocyanate and a (meth)acrylic acid, a (meth)acrylamide or a (meth)acrylate ester having a hydroxyl group, wherein the at least one diol initially reacts with the diisocyanate which is present in stoichiometric excess and the resulting isocyanate-terminated polyurethane is subsequently reacted with the (meth)acrylic acid, the (meth)acrylamide or the (meth)acrylate ester having a hydroxyl group to afford the elastomer.
Abstract: A sealing device including a waterproofing layer including at least one thermoplastic elastomer P1 and an outer layer of non-woven fabric directly adhered to at least portion of the second major surface of the waterproofing layer, wherein the outer layer of non-woven fabric including at least one polymer P2. Further, a method for producing a sealing device, to the use of a layer of non-woven fabric including or essentially consisting of polypropylene fibers for reducing blocking of a waterproofing layer including at least one propylene-based thermoplastic elastomer, and to a method for covering a roof substrate using the sealing devices of the present invention.

Abstract: A reinforcing element for reinforcing a structural element of a motor vehicle includes a carrier and an expandable material arranged thereon. The carrier has a first side wall and a second side wall, and an intermediate member connecting the side walls. The reinforcing element is produced by an injection molding process, wherein the side walls are oriented substantially in a demolding direction of the injection molding process. Abstract: There is provided a two-part urethane adhesive composition including: a main agent containing a polyisocyanate component (A); and a curing agent containing water and an active hydrogen-containing compound (B). Abstract: A thermally expandable composition, including: (a) at least one polymer P, cross-linkable by a free-radical initiator; (b) at least one acrylate A; (c) at least one free-radical initiator; (d) at least one blowing agent; and (e) at least one surfactant, whereby the surfactant is a sulfonate salt. Abstract: Methods of using a curable composition, the curable composition including at least one polyether having blocked hydroxyl groups as the plasticizer on at least one alkaline substrate.
