Abstract: A granular product based on arginine or the derivatives thereof, comprises an internal core in which there is substantially concentrated the arginine and a coating for covering and protecting the internal core, wherein the coating is formed by a lipidic matrix comprising a fraction by weight equal to or greater than 60% of glycerides of saturated fatty acids C16 and C18 and a fraction by weight of a mineral salt of alginate between 0.5% and 3%.
Abstract: A composition in micro-encapsulated form, comprising a core based on n- butyric acid or a derivative thereof, and a coating based on a lipid matrix which surrounds the core, in which the matrix has a content of C14-C22 long chain saturated fatty acids between 40% and 95%, is used for the treatment of ulcerative rectal colitis or Crohn's disease.

Abstract: A product based on conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) comprises an inner core in which the conjugated linoleic acid is substantially concentrated as well as a coating for covering and protecting the inner core; the coating in turn comprises a fraction greater than 80% by weight relative to the coating of a lipid matrix formed by glycerides of C16, C18, C20 and C22 saturated fatty acids.
Abstract: A process for the production of an n-butyric acid compound in microencapsulated form comprises the stages of:—providing a granular material based on the n-butyric acid compound, —mixing the granular material with a matrix having a content of long-chain C14-C22 saturated fatty acids of from 40% to 95%, and an amount of between 1% and 20% of a mineral agent in which an effective amount of calcium sulphate dihydrate is present, heating the mixture to a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the lipid component of the matrix, —spraying the mixture into a cooling chamber having a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the lipid component of the matrix, so that the latter solidifies around the granular material, forming a covering thereof.
