  • Publication number: 20110036521
Abstract: The invention relates to a multichannel profiled element for curtains, comprising a plurality of downwardly open guiding channels for each receiving at least one carriage. It consists of a plurality of profiled elements which each form one of the guiding channels, can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the channels, and are interconnected in a fixed manner perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. • Publication number: 20110030169
Abstract: The invention relates to a carriage comprising a rail having a first end and a second end, and a fixing means extending between said ends. The fixing means is used to detachably fix a curtain to the rail. The rail is movably mounted on slides in a channel of the profiled element for the curtain. The rail is highly flexible such that it bends elastically accordingly in a curved section when the carriage is displaced.

  • Patent number: 7401635
Abstract: The invention relates to a device having a plurality of parallel lamellae and an actuating device. The lamellae can be brought together to form a packet and connected to a pivoting element for pivoting purposes. The pivoting element has a first end and a plurality of other ends which are respectively connected to a lamella. When a lamella is pulled, the lamellae are pivoted in a common plane by the pivoting element. Preferably, the lamellae are respectively pivotably mounted on the upper, essentially horizontal edge thereof.

  • Patent number: 7246648
Abstract: A friction device for rolling up curtains and the like includes a tubular roller (1), on which a curtain (1a) is wound. The roller (1) is rotatably carried by a support (10) and a threaded stem (2) is situated axially inside the roller (1) and carries, mounted thereon by a screw coupling, an operative body (3), likewise situated inside the roller (1). The operative body (3) translates axially with respect to the threaded stem (2) during motion of the curtain (1a) from a rolled up configuration (A) to a unrolled configuration (B). Elastic blocks (41, 51) push on the operating body (3) to produce a friction effect on the operating body and transmitted to roller (1) during curtain (1a) transition between the unrolled and rolled up configurations, thus allowing operation of the curtain in a substantially balanced way during rolling up and/or unrolling. Stop nuts (40, 50) are fastened to the threaded stem (2) for compressing the elastic blocks against surfaces of the operating body (3).

  • Publication number: 20010017193
Abstract: A roller blind having in the external cylindrical surface of a roller a depression that extends essentially over the entire width of the roller in the form of a channel. Inserted into the channel is a carrier which is fastened on one end to the roller by a pivoting cover. The carrier is narrower than the channel, as a result of which it has space for lateral displacements. The carrier has a groove with a slot. The roller blind makes it possible to easily and correctly straighten the blind fabric.

  • Patent number: 6076592
Abstract: A curtain operating assembly has a track 2 with a pulling band 4 and sliding carriages 7, 9. The assembly is also equipped with an electric motor 11 connected to a drive cogwheel 17 and the pulling band. A clutch mechanism allows manual movement of the curtain 8. The drive shaft 33 of the electric motor has an attached claw 22 that may be moved in an axial direction in and out of the drive cogwheel during each rotational direction change of the drive shaft, to thereby engage or disengage the drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 5547007
Abstract: The activation device has a cord pull (8) on which at a certain distance two catches (9) are firmly attached. Via a gear system (10) the cord pull (8) is connected to a shaft (23) which passes through sliding elements (24) and which is connected to gears arranged in the sliding elements with curtain strips (34). The curtain strips (34) can be pivoted about 180.degree. with the shaft (23). If the curtain strips (34) are against a stop, the latter can be moved in one of the longitudinal directions of the curtain rail, in which case one of the stops (9) is engaged with the front running sliding element (24a). By activation of the cord pull (8) thus the curtain strips (34) can be pivoted about their longitudinal axes or moved in the longitudinal direction of the curtain rail horizontally.

  • Patent number: 5249617
Abstract: The louver curtain has a plurality of sliding elements (3) displaceably guided in a curtain rail (1). For displacing and swivelling the curtain louvers (4), the sliding elements each have a worm drive with a toothed gear (31). The toothed gears (31) mate with a sprocket chain (2) guided in the curtain rail (1). Preferably, the sprocket chain is a bridged-string chain, in which the bridges (24) have teeth (21) arranged on a broadside and projecting laterally, said teeth mating with the toothed gears (31). The bridges (21) are injected by injection molding onto flexible stranded steel cords (23). The louver curtain is motorizable and characterized by noiseless function combined with little friction.

  • Patent number: 5092382
Abstract: An apparatus which facilitates the raising and lowering of a pull-up band for a blind. An axially rotatable winding shaft is disposed generally parallel to the section rail by which the apparatus is attached to a wall. At least one winding roller is disposed along the winding shaft, having an axis of rotation extending generally horizontally and perpendicular to the winding shaft, and is adapted to extend and retract a pull-up band wound onto the winding roller responsive to a drive mechanism which transfers motion from the winding shaft to the winding roller. The winding roller is rotatably mounted in a holder, and the drive mechanism is housed in a housing which is detachably fastened to the section rail.

  • Patent number: 4715583
Abstract: A tensioning device for use with an endless traverse which is longitudinally adjustable in both directions responsive to a rotational drive. The rotational drive includes two driving gears which are each selectively coupled with a drive shaft so that when one of the driving gears is positively driven, the other driving gear is permitted to rotate freely. The traverse changes from one driving gear to the other by passing from between a pair of overlying side walls and over a flange. Elongation resulting from strain of the traverse is continuously led out of the system so that blocking or braking of the traverse is avoided. The tensioning device is especially suitable for the operation of strip curtains or conventional curtains, as well as for curtain systems with large and heavy traverses.

  • Patent number: 4552195
Abstract: The strip curtain has a plurality of glide elements which are guided by a curtain rod and connected with each other by separation-limiting devices. The free hanging curtain strips are suspended from vertical pivot axes with limited excursion. Operation of the pivot axis is by a pinion which engages a bead chain that is slidably guided by the curtain rod. The pinion is connected to the pivot axis by a worm drive, a slip coupling being provided between the pinion and the worm drive. The bead chain serves as common drive for producing pivotal movement and sliding movement of the curtain strips. The strip curtain is of simple construction and therefore reliable in operation and inexpensive and suitable for mass production.

  • Patent number: 4227564
Abstract: The curtain track with a traverse cord has at least one guidance channel in which the curtain hangers to which the curtain is to be attached are longitudinally freely movable. The cord is also positioned within this track and is led over turn-around or exit rollers at the end of the track. The curtain hangers are in frictional engagement with the cord, so that they can be actuated by the cord but stop when a resistance arises, whereupon the cord slips past them. The curtain can be operated both with the traverse cord and also by throwing.
