    Abstract: A pellet binder is described comprising silicate 60-97 by wt %, catalyst 3-40 by wt %, and the balance as water. The catalyst comprises glycol at 10-40 wt %, sulphonate at 10-20 wt % and sulphate 5-10 wt %. Such a pellet binder can be used in various processes for producing commercially useful pellets.
