The drain tray includes a cover portion that defines a cover cavity which, together with the collection cavity of the base portion, defines a respective compartment. The drain tray includes at least one inlet connectable to the solenoid valve of the machine for the transit of a respective hot waste fluid towards the compartment. The drain tray includes an outlet for the outflow of at least one fluid coming from the machine accumulated inside the collection cavity of the base portion. The drain tray includes a heat exchanger, arranged inside the compartment having at least one coil arranged to remain at least partially immersed in the fluid of the solenoid valve of the machine.

Abstract: A steam production system for professional coffee machines includes a nozzle; a boiler for producing steam in flow communication with a water source and the nozzle. The boiler is equipped with an independent heating device for the initial production of steam. The system further includes a heating assembly to instantaneously produce steam in flow communication with the boiler and/or the nozzle. The heating assembly includes an electric heating element; a heat exchanger associated with the electric heating element; and a water passage circuit associated with the heat exchanger which has an inlet joined to a water supply source or to a duct arriving from the latter and an outlet of the produced steam connected to the boiler and/or to the nozzle. The system also includes a programmable electronic unit operatively connected to the boiler and to the heating assembly to ensure the supply of steam to the nozzle.

The body includes: a first portion presenting a collection cavity of a hot waste fluid coming from the solenoid valve of the machine and defining a first surface arranged to come into contact with the hot waste fluid and a second surface facing the opposite side from the first surface; and a second portion presenting a primary surface in contact with the second surface of the first portion and a secondary surface opposed to the primary surface, arranged to come into contact with a heat exchange fluid of the machine having a different temperature from the temperature of the hot waste fluid. The first and second portions allow heat exchange, by conduction, between the hot waste fluid and the heat exchange fluid of the machine.

The coffee machine has a control unit provided with a memory, wherein infusion ratios for different types of coffees are saved and the coffee grinding machine includes a control unit operatively connected to the control unit of the coffee machine to send information about the weight of the ground coffee contained in the filter-holder. The control unit of the coffee machine uses the information received from the coffee grinding machine to extract a coffee that satisfies an infusion ratio selected by the operator.
