Abstract: A sink organizer includes a section defining a compartment having an extendable, collapsible and/or expandable base that provides a deeper holding section with an extended base to support a long slender shaped item, such as a long-handle brush. The expandable base has a telescopic structure, which may be in the form of an accordion-like structure having annular folding sections or other form of axially collapsible or telescopic structure (e.g., a concentric coupling of a series of nested and axially interlocking cylindrical collars of gradually reducing dimensions). Suction cups provide mounting of the sink organizer onto a sink wall. A bracket is attached to the side of the sink organizer where the suction cup mounting is also provided. The bracket has a handle, which is configured to rest against the top edge of the sink, thus providing additional support for stabilizing the sink organizer after it is attached to the sink wall by the suction cups.

Abstract: A trash can assembly has a shell having an enclosing wall that defines a periphery. The assembly has a lid fitted over the top of the shell, and a foot pedal positioned adjacent the bottom of the shell, with a portion of the foot pedal positioned inside the periphery of the shell. The assembly also includes a link assembly coupling the foot pedal and the lid. The assembly can also include a liner defining a container body, the liner fitted inside the shell and having an indent provided on the container body. A handle mechanism has a link strip that has a hooked end, with the hooked end engaging the indent to lift the liner from inside the shell.
Abstract: A dish rack assembly has a dish rack, and a base having a bottom wall on which the dish rack is positioned. The base includes a first edge having a first water outlet provided adjacent the first edge, and a second edge having a second water outlet provided adjacent the second edge. The second edge is adjacent to the first edge. A removable water stopper can be secured to either the first water outlet or the second water outlet. In addition, a first leg can be positioned adjacent a third edge that is opposite to the first edge, and a second leg can be positioned adjacent a fourth edge that is opposite to the second edge.
Abstract: A step trash can assembly includes a base assembly having an integrated base and base liner. The base includes several parts, including a base, a pedal bar with a foot pedal end and a linkage end for coupling to a link rod for operating the lid, and a pivot axle supported by the base, which pivotally supports the pedal bar. In addition, a separate base liner is provided above the base, concealing the components in the base after installation in the canister body. The foregoing components are pre-assembled to form the base assembly prior to attachment to the inside bottom trash can body.

Abstract: A caddy for use in bathrooms is disclosed. The caddy can include removable shelf assemblies and/or accessory units for holding common household items. The removable shelf accessories can include knobs which can be turned to secure and free the shelf assemblies from a support member of the caddy. The accessory units can snap into place on the support member. The support member can include a telescoping section and biasing element which permits the caddy to adjust to different sized bathrooms. A sliding member can be incorporated to provide additional areas for attachment of shelf assemblies or accessory units.
Abstract: A liner for use in a trash can has a body having a surrounding wall and a top edge that defines a mouth, and a trash bag securing mechanism provided on the body adjacent the top edge. A user can insert a trash bag into the liner, open the mouth of the trash bag and then secure a portion of the trash bag to the trash bag securing mechanism.
Abstract: A trash can can include a sensor for detecting the presence of an object near a lower portion of the trash can. The detection of the object can be used to signal the trash can to open its lid. The trash can can include an electric drive unit for opening and closing the lid.
