  • Patent number: 12731475
Abstract: A method includes rendering, via a touchscreen, a graphical user interface comprising a first control configured to receive a selection of a location monitored by a first device and a second control configured to receive a selection of a setting to apply to a system. The system includes the first device and a second device. The second device is configured to communicate with the first device. The setting specifies a first mode of operation of the first device and a second mode of operation of the second device. The second mode of operation prohibits communication between the first and second devices. The method further includes receiving, via the touchscreen, the selection of the setting via the second control and applying the selection to the system to configure the first device to operate in a first mode and the second device to operate in the second mode.

  • Patent number: 12720290
Abstract: A computing system may cause transmission of a short message service (SMS) message to an endpoint device, the SMS message being indicative of a signal for an alarm condition present at a monitored location. The computing system may determine that a reply to the SMS message from the endpoint device includes a command to take an action with respect to the alarm condition. The computing system may retrieve, from one or more data stores, context about an incident at the monitored location. The computing system may send, based at least in part on the command and the context, at least one instruction to take an action with respect to the alarm condition.

  • Patent number: 12705966
Abstract: In some embodiments, a computing system may cause display of a first notification about a first monitored location and, before display of a second notification about a second monitored location, may determine that first data about the second monitored location satisfies at least a first criterion and refrain from causing display of second notification based at least in part on satisfaction of the first criterion.

  • Publication number: 20260230519
Abstract: A computing device including a memory and a processor is provided. The processor is configured to receive, from a device configured to communicate data generated by at least one sensor disposed in a location being monitored, a request to establish a bi-directional connection between the device and a computing environment; identify a structure of data storing a uniform resource locator (URL) and a set of identifiers, the set of identifiers being representative of a group of connections with the computing environment; and respond, to the device, with a response specifying the URL, thereby enabling the device to establish the bi-directional connection.

  • Patent number: 12701307
Abstract: In one example, a method includes turning off one or more infrared light emitters of a device, illuminating a scene with a light source of the device other than the one or more infrared light emitters, the light source simultaneously emitting light in both visible and infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum, and acquiring, with an infrared image sensor of the device, an image of the scene in response to detection, by the infrared image sensor, of light from the light source reflected by an object in the scene.

  • Patent number: 12701196
Abstract: In accordance with one disclosed method, a computing device may determine that a plurality of frames of image data represent an object of a first type and may further determine at least first and second parameters indicative of first and second positions of a bounding box of the object within first and second frames, respectively. The computing device may calculate, using at least the first parameter and the second parameter, a rate at which a position of the bounding box is moving from frame to frame within the plurality of frames and may determine a variable that is based at least in part on the rate. Based at least in part on the variable satisfying a criterion, the computing device may cause acquired video to be recorded in a datastore.

  • Patent number: 12694772
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to computerized methods, systems and non-transitory computer-readable media for determining a plurality of regions of interest from an image of a scene for motion detection. The methods can include generating the regions of interest using image segmentation techniques and receiving user selection to designate one or more regions as motion detection zones. The methods can also automatically recommend motion detection zones. The methods can include subsequently capturing one or more images of a scene and performing motion detection in the one or more images of the scene using the designated motion detection zones.

  • Patent number: 12680343
Abstract: A door lock that includes a clutch mechanically arranged between a drive motor and a lock drive with the clutch having a clutch gear that is movable between engaged and disengaged positions to selectively couple and uncouple the drive motor from the lock drive from the drive motor. The clutch gear may be movable along a pathway between engaged and disengaged positions, e.g., in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the clutch gear. The clutch gear may selectively couple and uncouple the drive motor from the lock drive based on movement of the drive motor.

  • Patent number: 12676004
Abstract: In some embodiments, a security system may generate a first record including first data about detection of a first person in a first image and a second record including second data about detection of a second person in a second image. The security system may determine, based at least in part on first and second data, priorities for the first and second records, and may determine, based at least in part on the priorities, an order in which to process the first and second records. Based at least in part on the order, the security system may process the first record via a first monitoring application prior to processing the second record via a second monitoring application.
