Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for anonymous online matching for products and services. A listing party uploads a detailed profile (e.g., indicating goods and/or service they desire to purchase) to a matching system. The matching system, automatically and/or manually, detects a match with a potential seller. The matching system sends a redacted profile to the potential seller. The redacted profile includes product and/or service information but omits indentify information of the listing party. The seller determines if further investigation is worthwhile (e.g., purchase of the detailed profile including identify information) based on the content of the redacted profile.
