Abstract: Seismic damage reducing system for partitions. A seismic protective structure (100) for forming part of a board partition (190) and for limiting damage to the board partition (190) when a given level of seismic stress is appearing, is described. The seismic protective structure (100) comprising a breaking mechanism (107) introduced near an upper corner and/or lower corner of board partition (190), wherein the breaking mechanism (107) is adapted for, when a given level of seismic stress is appearing, intentionally causing damage of the board partition (190) thereby releasing stress from the remainder of the board partition (190).
Abstract: The invention relates to a plasterboard comprising a layer of plaster and at least one facing arranged on the latter, the facing being coated with a coating slip comprising a microporous material, said microporous material comprising agglomerates of precipitated silica. The invention also relates to a coating slip, a facing, and methods of manufacture for supplying said plasterboard.
Abstract: The instant invention is concerned with the post-treatment of ?-hemihydrate plasters for the purpose of stabilization. The invention relies in the addition of a retardant to the calcined ?-hemihydrate. It is also the purpose of the invention to provide stabilized ?-hemihydrate plasters which exhibit advantageous properties.
Abstract: An element is directed to the dry construction of lightweight walls, especially the construction of load-bearing lightweight façades or non-load-bearing lightweight façades, which do not contribute to the stability of the building. The element includes a panel based on a hydraulic binding agent and all or part of the face is coated with a polymer film obtained by polymerization under the action of radiation. The element also includes a structure, and a jointing component resistant to air transfers and thermal and hydric transfers. The element does not comprise any membranes that are resistant to air transfers and thermal and hydric transfers.
